New Creation

Hello Sweet 'n Sassy Stampers!
It's Ceal, here to share with you today. I am using the Stamp of the Month set "Made New " on my projects. You can receive this gorgeous butterfly set free the you make a purchase of $75 the month of February.

I love butterflies so when Korin designed this set I was so excited!
I created a CAS card for my bible study leader by stamping the butterflies on a white card and coloring them using Copic markers.
I also created a quick bible journaling page with them for the 2 Corinthians 5:17 verse, which this set is perfect for

Romans 8 and a thank you card

Good morning!

Today I am sharing two projects, a card and a bible journaling page, using the Fantastic Flowers stamp set.  The card I made also uses Kindness Matters.

This card is simple but very striking with the flower layered onto the white panel. I simply sponged 3 colors of ink onto white cardstock and stamped the flower on top in black. After I cut the flower out, I hated to throw away the leftover sponged piece, so I stamped the leaves, cut it down to the size I needed, and used it for my background.  I stamped the sentiment and added a few Nuvo drops to finish it off.

After my card was done, I loved the color combo and decided to re-create it in my bible. I chose Romans 8:37-39 to journal. The colors are a little more muted on the bible page but it still turned out fine. I masked the verse and purposely sponged the color lighter on the top left corner.

The same leaves and flower were stamped in black and highlighted a bit with a white pen. "Made for More" was stamped with the Love Ya Like A Sister Alpha. "Nothing can separate us..." was typed on my computer and cut out.

Have a great day!
Diane

Greetings! Kim here today to share a Bible journaling layout featuring the As the Deer stamp set. I am relatively new to Bible journaling and I confess that I love it! I purchased a Bible just for art journaling and its one that includes some pre-printed designs and Scripture verses that you can color or paint. I find this option can be a great source of inspiration.

For today's layout, can I share that I love this set! It features so many sweet images that are perfect for creating scenes. This is a perfect set for creating cards as well...so many options!

On my pages I used gelatos for the background color and Prismacolor Water Color pencils for all of the coloring. And...I created a video to take you through my creative process. Enjoy!

Come and Adore Him

Hello friends and welcome to today's card! Today I'm sharing a quick and easy card featuring a wonderful Bible journaling set, called All Your Heart. And, yes, you can use Bible journaling stamp sets to create cards too!

I started my card by creating a background using Strathmore water color paper. The water coloring was done with Distress Inks. To use Distress Inks, simply smoosh some ink onto a non-stick craft sheet and then pick up the ink with a water color brush. If you lay down a layer of water on to the paper before adding the ink, you'll get lots of great blending of the colors.

Once my water coloring paper was completely dry, I used white embossing power to add the sentiment. To make the letters stand out a bit more, I used more ink to color in each word. Next, I added a sweet Glossy Accents covered heart along with some small paint splatters in black. I mounted the water color piece on a piece of black cardstock and attached to a white card.

I hope you enjoyed today's card! You can use this easy technique to create any card...give it a try!

Happy Crafting!

Tune My Heart

Hi Sweet 'n Sassy friends!
It's Ceal here to share a quick card made with one of our Creative Worship stamps. I am in the middle of a craft room set up so it's kinda hard for me to journal in my bible right now, so I made a card with the Bible Journaling stamps. If you don't bible journal these stamps are still for you. This particular set Song of Praise is inspired by the song Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing, one of my favorite worship songs.
My card was simple to make, most of it is stamping and then I paper pieced the bird.

Illustrated by Karla Dornacher, the Lord is Risen is a beautiful Easter-themed 4"x6" clear stamp set -- perfect for spring greetings, as well as journaling! Having all the words separate also allows for mixing and matching with other Creative Worship sets too!
I love the delicate flowers and little extra images with the swirls and hearts! And don't miss the scripture reference stamp!

Rebecca's journaling page shows just how beautiful this set is as Bible art from the heart!

And Diane's card is reflects the newness of life with its fresh and clean design.
The second set in the Kit is a trendy, fun alphabet (love!) designed by Kimberly Geswein called Love Ya Like A Sister

There are so many possibilities for alphabet sets in your journaling -- and cardmaking! Personalization of scripture verses, using your own name, is a great way to remember that God's love is for YOU!

I can hardly wait to get my hands on this alpha!

Also in the Kit is a bundle of goodies to help make your journaling easy and fun! You can see what is included HERE.

PLUS -- we have a surprise release of a new Creative Worship stamp set available separately called His Wings, designed by Korin Sutherland. We know you will love this set too! Five images and 24 words present so many possibilities for beautiful projects!

Worship the Lord

Hello! It's Monika here today showing you my way of Bible Journaling.

I wanted to give Bible Journaling a try... but I am still not comfortable with the thought of using my Bible as my base sheet. What if I make a mistake? I can't just tear the page out and toss it aside... and believe me, I do make lots of mistakes...
So I decided to do my journaling on a piece of paper and attach that paper to my Bible. I guess I could call this my altered Bible.

What do you think?
I really liked how the background turned out on my previous card, so I made the background the same way...
The right side was sponged with Mustard Seed distress ink. Then I went over the ink with a wet brush to spread the ink. After the ink dried, I also splashed some water over the area...

I added some highlights to the words and dress with Prismacolor Pencils.
The silhouette butterflies were stamped on vellum and heat embossed with white embossing powder.

Thank you for stopping by,
Monika

Bible Journaling Sunday - How Sweet It Is

Happy Sunday friends! My name is Rebecca and in my very first blog post here on the SNSS blog! I'm so excited to share with you a page I created in my Bible using our newly released digi stamps.

I chose the beginning of the book of Ephesians because of the way the words poured over me: "he chose us", "he predestined us", "riches of his grace", "spiritual blessing", all of which He lavishes on us...me! I simply used my iPhone as a light box to lightly trace my purchased images into my Bible's margins. This method makes it easy for resizing! A piece of plastic tied with baker's twine adds fun dimension to my lollipop and Glossy Accents adds just the right amount of interest to my wrapped candy at the bottom. Splatters of coordinating watercolor are my finishing touch. Aren't these sweet candies so friendly??! Feel free to comment below with any questions on this page!

Hope In The Lord

Hello Sweet 'n Sassy friends,  it's Ceal here, to share another new release sample with you. This card uses the new Bible journaling set Message of Hope. I wanted to show you, you don't have to be a Bible journal to use these sets, they also make beautiful cards. I also used an older set Leafy Flourish Background.
To make my card, I randomly stamped the word hope from the Message of Hope set across my panel. I embossed it with clear embossing powder and then stamped the Leafy Flourish Background in versamark ink as well, but didn't emboss it, instead I sponged some Pan Pastels over it. To finish it I stamped the greeting all from the Message of Hope set on a tag and placed rhinestones in the center of the flowers.
