Hello Everyone and Welcome to Fall!
We are enjoying cooler weather in my neck of the woods and that makes me longing for soup, sweaters and pumpkins! It means that Christmas will be here before you know it!
We are featuring this month's new Christmas Release, which is chock full of amazing stamp sets. I love this Krista Hamrick set, Receive the Savior.
I paired this wonderful image with the sweet, tiny sentiment from the Born This Day Stamp Set.
The image is colored with Copics- E40s- and I almost didn't get to complete it as two of the markers ran dry and I do not have their refills yet. But persistence paid off as little by little, giving the remaining ink time to refill the tip, I was able to finish the image. A simple design allows the image to take center stage.
Thanks for stopping by- Happy Crafting!

The Born This Day image was colored with Copic markers and die cut with the matching die. I used some DP to put behind the "window" to create the look of the night sky. I added the star die cut and a rhinestone, plus some Stickles for the additional sparkle. The sentiment is from our Jesus is the Reason digital set but it is also available in our Jesus is Born clear stamp set. Yay!!
The inside features a few other stamps from the Born This Day set including Luke 2:10-11. I love adding scripture to my cards and this set has plenty of great options.

Born this Day...
Hello! It's Monika here today, bringing you couple of Christmas cards.
There was a one-layer card challenge at SplitCoast Stampers the other day, so I decided to play along. Those are the hardest for me, since I like to add some layers...
So here is what I came up with, using Born this Day clear stamp set:

Christmas Blessings
Hi friends,
Are you ready for Thanksgiving? Tomorrow I put my timeline into action. But for now, it's time to share one last November Release card with you. About a week ago I stopped to get a drink at my local Starbucks, and while waiting, looked at this years Christmas gift cards.
Hmm, I think I have everything I need to create my own "gift card" as it were, and include a little surprise for the recipient as well. And so she did (smiling).

Here's a little something about me you might not know. As a stamper and card maker, I love to create scenes and write stories to accompany them *wink*. Oh, you knew that?! *tehe* I want to share with you how easy it is to create a scene with multiple stamp sets. First I made a card base from light blue card stock. Then used the Landscape Silhouettes Stamp set for the background trees. I stamped them with Memento Northern Pine and Grey Flannel (a little darker than the London Fog), then placed the first hill on top of them. The trees in the foreground are from our November Release Stamp Set, Tender Thoughts. I embossed them and used the coordinating die, Birch Forest to cut them out. Then I cut out several hills. Don't worry if you don't have a die. These types of hills are easy to free hand cut. The snowman is also from our November Release. He's part of the Snowy Hello collection illustrated by Diane Zechman. The circular tag uses our Spectacular Snowflakes Stamp set, and sentiment from our October Release, Born This Day.
Now of course I had a little mishap *frowning* I hadn't used my Mister Huey's Calico White mist in about two years. Well, of course it came out like gang busters - ack! Sometimes you can recover and sometimes you can't. But there's no crying in baseball so you just have to move on *laughing*. I think I'm going over to our Starbucks for a hot beverage! That's the ticket!
May this Thanksgiving be a blessed one for each of you. I'd like to leave you with this quote. Teddy's grammy shared it the other day and I'd like to share it with you my friends.
"Let us remember that, as much has been given us, much will be expected from us, and that true homage comes from the heart as well as from the lips, and shows itself in deeds."
~ Theodore Roosevelt.
May the words of our mouth come from our heart, and may we sow kindness to all.
Happy Thanksgiving, and blessings be unto you and yours.

Merry Christmas
Hello friends, Giovana here today bringing you a CAS Mixed Media card. recently got a new stencil and I thought this would be a perfect match with "Born this Day" set.
This card is super simple. The background was created by mixing embossing paste and Ferro Amber Gold paint, positioned the stencil on you piece of cardstock and added the mixture, set aside to dry, after that I sponged it with Mustard Seed distress ink.
I die-cut a manger from White cardstock, then stamped the image in memento Tuxedo Black and colored it with Copic Markers. I added Star Dust Stickles to the hay part.

A Shabby Christmas
Hello Everyone!
Here we are in October already and I don't know about you, but I am already thinking about Thanksgiving and Christmas! I have a Christmas card to share with you today that I consider to be very shabby chic, at least for me! I have used a combination of sets and created something akin to a collage.
I have done a lot of both heat and dry embossing on this card. The gold tone comes from a wonderful acrylic paint that I have been using on Christmas cards; the images are stamped and embossed on top of this painted background. The Christmas tree is from the Christmas Silhouettes set; I love how the script on the image gives it a vintage look.
For me, Silent Night is one of the purest and most timeless of Christmas songs. The sentiment 'Silent Night Holy Night' from the Born This Day set was perfect to add to the Music background image to create a Christmas sheet music background.
That's it for me today; thanks so much for stopping by!

Mod, Marvelous Ornaments
Hello! I am so glad you stopped by today. This is my first post as an official Design Diva and I could not be more excited to be here! Thank You, Korin for this opportunity, and thanks to the rest of the team for the warm, warm welcome. I have two cards for you today and they could not be more different.
This first card uses the Mod Ornaments set, as well as the Music Background stamp.
The new Mod Ornaments set is so versatile; by stamping the Music Background on the ornaments and doing some heat embossing, I turn mod ornaments into elegant ornaments. And even better yet, the coordinating dies are the dies that also coordinate with the Vintage Ornaments set. And that sweet heart on the pink ornament? That is from the Vintage Postcard set!
This next card uses the Born This Day stamp set and is CAS and neutral. I wanted to depict the humble birth of our Lord, so there is no glitz or glamour.
I absolutely adore this sweet, sweet set. I used a favorite sketch of mine from a challenge blog and colored the image with Copics, using only 4 colors with the exception of Baby Jesus' face. I used the coordinating die and who new cutting out a detailed image could be so easy!?
That's it for me today. If you would like more details on how I made these cards, you can find them on my blog.
Hugs,
Lee Ann
