Happy Halloween

 

Hi there! It's Ceal here to share with you today. I hope you enjoyed all the inspiration from the DT favorites posts I know I enjoyed seeing all the beautiful samples.

With Halloween coming up I decided to share another older set with you, Buggin' Ya.   I am not much of a Halloween person, especially the spooky stuff but this  little spider is adorable for a Halloween card.

I used a stencil to create my background, added a couple pennants and then colored up the spider from this set and added him on a scalloped mat. The result, a cute Halloween card to send to a friend who also doesn't do the spooky Halloween.

School's Almost Out!

Hello Everyone!
With the end of the school year upon us, I thought I would share a card using the Buggin' Ya set, that I have done with two different sentiments.  The first would make a great Thank You for a teacher and has the added bonus of being quick and easy!  The sentiment is from the Precious Poppies set.

The second card uses a sentiment from the  Buggin' Ya set.

The apple seeds are made using the raindrops from the cloud and raindrop dies and the worms are paper pieced.  
I also have a card to share with you featuring the ever versatile Landscape Silhouettes set.

The nearer the end of the school year becomes, the more I have the travel bug. This card reminds me of starting out on a travel adventure.  As I live in the midwest, anywhere I travel means having to drive through America's heartland, passing many miles of farmland. I stamped the farm scene on a yellow cardstock circle and then sponged yellows and oranges to create the sunset.  The sentiment is from the Across the Miles set.

Welcome to Day #3 of your May Release Features! 

As a mother of three boys, creepy crawlies have been a part of my life for many years, so this set is for all those boy moms, grandmas, aunts and babysitters who know what it's like to find critters in pockets or hear that sweet voice asking for a container where he can keep his "new friend".  I have to say, if creepy crawlies my boys brought home were this cute, I might not have been so hesitant to oblige their request. ;)
