Spring Lamb

Hello friend, Esther here today with this sweet little square card that features the Stamp-of-the-Month, Spotted.
I stamped the little lamb from Sweet Little Lamb  in Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink  and colored it with my Arteza Real Brush Pens. Next I stamped the Grunge Stripe Background in Yeti Ink (Lawn Fawn) on a piece of purple cardstock and added some grunge using a stamp from Texture Tiles 1. I die cut a circle using circle dies from Spellbinders and layered it on a black doily cut with the Doily Die from Sizzix. The sentiment is from the Script Sentiments stamp set.

Jar of Blessings

Hi friends! It's Julee popping in today with a card made with a mash-up of old and new stamps and dies. As soon as I saw the Botanical Branches set, I knew I wanted to add these to a mason jar. Cue the mason jar from the Get Well Critters set.  I stamped the jar, then masked off the lid to stamp the branches. I then colored with Copics, accented with stickles and hand trimmed.

The background of the card is done with the June Stamp of the Month, Grunge Stripe Background. I really love this background! I stamped on kraft with brown ink, then sponged around the edges with brown ink for a glow in the center.

The horizontal strip is soft sky cardstock stamped with the swiss dot pattern from the Texture Tiles 8 set. I cut the Blessings Word Die several times from white and then kraft paper, then layered them together for depth and sponged just the bottom portion with black ink. The many is from the So Grateful set and I popped it up on dimensionals above the die cut sentiment to finish off the card.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope your day is filled with blessings.

Oh Baby

Happy Saturday! I'm sharing two baby cards with you today featuring the Oh Baby stamps and dies, Grunge Stripe background, and Bitty Hearts stencil from the June Release. I paired them with the sentiment set Baby Innies to create some sweet baby cards.

For my first card, I chose a muted color combination. I stamped the overalls and duck on Strathmore Bristol smooth cardstock with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink. I colored the images with Arteza Brush Pens and die cut. I stenciled the hearts on Barely Banana and Kraft cardstock with coordinating ink and die cut with stitched rectangle dies. I assembled the card on a Certainly Celery card base, stamping the sentiment on the same color and popping the outfit up with foam tape.

I decided to decorate the inside of the card. I trimmed a piece of white cardstock so it would leave a border of green around the edge. I stamped the ducks and sentiment with black ink and colored the ducks. I had an extra duck colored and die cut so I decided to place it next to the sentiment. I don't often decorate the inside of my cards, but I thought it added a nice touch on the baby card.

For my second card, I chose to use the same colors but a different image. I began by stamping three onsies on bristol smooth cardstock. I added the ducks to the front, colored with Arteza brush pens and die cut. I stamped the Grunge Stripe background in two different directions to create a plaid background using Barely Banana cardstock and ink. I got the idea to use the background stamp to create a plaid from fellow design team member Diane. I die cut the yellow panel, stamped the sentiment and assembled as seen popping the panel up with foam tape on a white card base.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

oh baby

Good morning! I'm back with a few cards for this month’s Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps release. I have several cards today using the Oh Baby Stamp & Die Bundle (also sold separately) and the stamp of the month, Grunge Stripe Background. I also used the Starry Night Stencil and Stars Dies.

For my first card, I started with the Grunge Stripe Background and then turned it 90° and stamped it again to create a plaid. I used the Starry Night Stencil and Stars Dies to coordinate with the stars in the stamp set.

This next card is super fun! I made a bunch for some friends' birthdays with a butterfly on the front and they loved them. I thought this sweet baby carriage would be super cute too! I found the directions for this fun fold card here.

To open this gate-fold style card, the sides are bent back and the carriage is attached to the center fold. So fun!

For my last card, I was playing around with stamping the onesie image onto several different scraps of patterned paper from the same pad. I had enough stamped and cut to make three baby girl mini slim cards with this simple layout!

Have a great day!
Diane

Botanical Branches

Today I am sharing cards featuring two of the new June Release sets. I often like to make two cards with the same layout and just change up the colors. I really like to do this when I have an easy layout.

Both my cards today feature Botanical Branches and the June Stamp of the Month Grunge Stripe Background. These two versatile sets will make a great addition to your collection!

For my first card, I stamped the background with Ballet Slipper ink on white cardstock. I die cut and matted on white. I stamped the focal image with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink. Once dry, I colored the image with Arteza Brush Pens(green tea, olive green, rouge pink and red). I fussy cut the image and used a craft knife to get the spots inbetween the leaves. I glued the image to the striped panel and let dry. I wrapped string around the front of the panel and attached it to a white card base popping it up with foam tape. I stamped the sentiment with black ink on a scrap piece of Regal Rose cardstock and affixed to the front.

My second card is the same layout just a different color palette. I used Sahara Sand ink for the stripes and same color cardstock to layer the panel. I colored the image with crocodile green, olive green, bumblebee yellow and cadmium orange Arteza Brush Pens. I stamped the sentiment on Garden Green cardstock and used a natural twine to wrap around the front. For this card, I decided to add a little more color with orange and yellow paint spatters.

I hope you enjoyed today's cards and thanks for stopping by!

snail village

Good morning! It’s the beginning of June already, which means there’s a great new release at SNSS! Today I am sharing a few cards using the new Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps Snail Village Stamp & Die Bundle (also available separately), Botanical Branches, Grunge Stripe Background (the Stamp of the Month!), and the Bitty Hearts Stencil.

I made a soft background for the snail with the new Botanical Branches on my first card. Then I added some colorful, whimsical stripes to go with the "cheerful shello" sentiment. The sentiment was popped with foam tape.

My next two cards are pretty CAS. I used a single stripe from the Grunge Stripe Background here to create a road or path. The snail and balloon are popped up.

I stenciled and sponged the background on the right side of my last card. The mushroom house was cut & layered over top. This is such a cute set!

Have a great day!
Diane
