Thank you, Thank you, Thank you

Today I have three Thank You cards using this months "stamp of the month" free with a $60 purchase. It is called (wait for it...) Thank You (haha!)

This set it so fun. There are chunky thank yous and scripty thank yous. They go with so many card designs. For my projects, I pulled some backgrounds together and mostly let the sentiment carry the card. I am pretty happy to have some thank you cards in my stash that are versatile too!

1st - I created a abstract back ground using copics to color the heat embossed my sentiment on black with white embossing powder.

2nd - I used the Background Builder Stripe set to create a fun black and white background, heat embossed my sentiment on black with white embossing powder and mounted everything on red for a pop of color.

3rd - I had a left over chick from March's Hoppy Spring set and I used it as an accent to a background using the Chicken Wire Stencil (right...). Then I stamped my sentiment onto the background.

I hope you are inspired - this set is seriously worth it! It will be one I go to again and again!

Thanks for stopping by!

BUNNIES, BUNNIES, BUNNIES!

Today I have a super sweet post filled with the cutest cuddliest... bunnies! Who doesn't love bunnies amiright? Sweet N Sassy has some truly adorable bunnies in both clear stamps and digital stamps....

FIRST we have this so cute little guy from this month's Hoppy Spring set. I inked him up on a Neenah Desert Storm card stock base, masked him, them covered the background with the new Textures 11 flowers using Versa Mark for a tone-on-tone look. I unmasked and those flowers moved to the background so I could color my bunny with colored pencils and have a one layer card.

Next I have another clean and simple card, but this time, I didn't fill in the white space. (I did, however, die-cut and mount my panel for a little dimension :)) This card uses a new digi called Bunny Love. It comes with a sweet sentiment that I have used on many a project lately! I created my "card front" in a word doc with the bunny and sentiment placed just where I wanted them. I printed, colored him with Copic markers, and die-cut the layers - that is all there is to it!

My last project is a mixed media ATC (Artist Trading Card) that I created for a team swap. I used Distress Oxides on heavy watercolor paper to start my card. I added texture with Typewriter Text BG, Texture Tiles 5, and the new Grunge Dots Stencil. I created a word doc with a bunch of my images and sentiments from Valentine Bunny with Heart and Bunny Love respectively and had a fun day of coloring and fussy cutting. I added a little washi from my stash to "ground" my bunny and balance my ATC then glued my image and sentiment down... I signed the back and mailed off to my friends - SO MUCH FUN!

I hope you were inspired today - HOP to it and go great something this weekend!

By the way, there are still a few more days to get in on the SNSS moving sale!

Hello Friend

Happy Saturday!! I'm sharing this cheerful card featuring two items from the March ReleaseHoppy Spring and Puffy Clouds Stencil along with the out of the vault Fence & Grass Die

I started by stenciling the clouds with Barely Banana ink on the same color card base for a tone on tone look. Then, I stamped the flower image on Strathmore Bristol Smooth with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink, colored with Arteza Real Brush Pens and die cut.

Next, I added green grass with Parsely ink and clouds with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink on the white panel. I die cut the fence from Chocolate Chip cardstock, glued to the flower panel and trimmed the edges. Finally, I stamped the sentiment with black ink on white, hand trimmed the banner tail and assembled the card.

I hope you enjoyed today's card and thanks for stopping by,

Karen

Hopping by with Blessings

Esther here today sharing a fun little spring bunny card. To create my background I sprinkled some Merlot Color Burst powders on a piece of watercolor paper, spritzed with water, and heat set. Then I stamped one of the roses from HAPPY DAY in VERSAFINE CLAIR NOCTURNE INK all over the background.  I stamped one of the bunnies from HOPPY SPRINGand colored it with Arteza Real Brush Pens before fussy cutting. I die cut the BLESSINGS DIE from black card stock and added some white polka dots with a gel pen.  I glued the die cut sentiment to a white tag and added "hopping by with" in seedless preserves distress oxide.

Birthday Bunnies

Hi friends! It's Julee popping in with a bit of inspiration for your Wednesday!

My twins turn 9 next week and I'm really not sure how that happened so fast! It's been a whirlwind for sure! Back when I was pregnant, I picked out some adorable little JellyCat plush bunnies for them. This little bunny from the Hoppy Spring set totally reminds me of those sweet bunnies, so I knew I had to use it on their cards.

I colored the bunny up with Copics, then hand trimmed (there are coordinating dies, but mine haven't arrived quite yet).  For the background I knew I wanted to use blue and green, because those were their colors and how we kept track of them. Blue outfits for Kellan and green for Trevor, until they were about 2 years old, and Trevor just HAD to be blue, too! So I created a smooshed background with twisted citron, mowed lawn, broken china, and peacock feathers disttress oxides. When it was dry, I stenciled over it using the Starry Night Stencil and some teal paper glaze. I finished off with a simple birthday sentiment from the Make a Wish set.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a wonderful week!
