Polished Stone Hummingbird

Good morning!

Jessica here popping in to share a quick card I created using the Joyful Heart Sweet 'n Sassy stamp set.  Korin has drawn such a lovely image with the hummingbird and flowers that it is perfect for the polished stone technique.  

I used Ranger's Alcohol inks (one shade of red & the silver) but any dye reinkers will work.  Apply some ink to a cotton ball or Ranger's Inkssentials felt and pounce up and down on glossy card stock until you achieve the results that you are happy with.  (Tip: To help blend and soften the colors, add a bit of rubbing alcohol or Ranger's Alcohol blending solution.)

Joyful Heart

Good morning Sweet 'n Sassy friends! I hope you had a fabulous weekend. Today I am sharing a card I made a couple of weeks ago using our new Joyful Heart set.

I have no idea if there is a brown and orange hummingbird, but in my imagination there is :).....plus it matches my papers ;). I grabbed these lovely papers by First Edition when I was at Joys of Life Scrapbooking recently. They are so pretty and I can't wait to make more cards with them :).
