Gnomie, it's cold outside!

Good morning! Can you believe that December is here already? The cold weather is here too, so today I pulled out one of my favorite Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps images to make a few cards. This month, the theme at SNSS is Anything Goes! Do you love the gnome trend? Me too!

How do you share to enter?
Simply upload your NEW creations to the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps VIP Facebook Group in our
DECEMBER GIVEAWAY Album.
If you aren't already a member you'll definitely want to join for this awesome giveaway!

I used the Winter Gnomes image of the gnome with a mug and some wintery patterned papers. The layout is the same yet they are different. I don't know which is my favorite.

Be sure to play along and upload your projects...we'd love to see what you're creating!

It's just a warm up....

{janebosi}  Hey Friends!  We've had so much coffee goodness with this month's release--and, let's face it, 'tis the season for warm cozy drinks.  We've hit a cold snap here in Wisconsin and have been in "feels like" below zero temperatures for a good week now! It is time to enjoy the cocoa, coffee, tea--whatever to keep those insides toasty.

Tomorrow, we have a super fun collab coffee blog hop so today I thought I'd warm you up a little with a few other goodies I've been working on.

My first two shares feature the Going Postal set.  This gorgeous vintage set was designed by .  The scripty image is actually handwriting of a beloved member of her family.  I just love that!  There is something so intimate and comforting about a loved ones' handwriting.  I have an autograph book from my childhood--when those were a thing!  I love seeing the penmanship of my grandparents, parents and aunts and uncles.

This card also features images from Rose Banner

This card also features a floral from Flower Garden.

The little gnomie from Winter Gnomes pairs perfectly with a sentiment from the new Coffee Talk 2 set.  Who doesn't relate to "coffee before talkie?" I added some stripes to the background piece with the new Background Builders: Stripes set as well.

I used the Background Builders: Stripes set on this fun birthday card, too.  Nothing says "Happy Birthday" quite like rainbows and unicorns.  Both along with the gems and sentiments are from one of my favorite "adorable animals" sets:  Be Unique.

That's all for today!  Please come back tomorrow for more inspiration and a fun hop!
TTFN, Jane

It's Julee here popping in with a super fun post today! We're so excited to be amidst a long list of fabulous Super Sponsors for the Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! 'Tis definitely the season to enjoy a little mug of something toasty, papercrafted or otherwise.

The hop kicks off today and runs through Friday, November 13. Enter as many cards as you like, the more the merrier! The deadline to link up is Friday, November 13.

We're having a mini digi release today and as part of our month long 13th Birthday celebration, this week's sale is an amazing 50% off all digital products! No code needed. Sale ends November 12.

Did you spy the new Holiday Cuppa DIGI in the sale graphic? Most of you coffee loving papercrafters know I love to design coffee releated images!  So let's take a closer look at this fun digital I designed in honor of the hop.

Here's my first make with the Holiday Cuppa DIGI.  I printed on smooth bristol, sizing the image down to fit inside the cup, then colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. When I was finished I added some accents with Stickles and a white gel pen, then fussy cut the whole shebang.

The background is done on the gel press with some alcohol inks. I laid down the alcohol inks, then stamped the huge snowflake from Spectacular Snowflakes with Alcohol Lift Ink and then stamped onto the gel press.  I made the pull, then I added a thin layer of acrylic paint and did another pull.  I added some splatters of paint all over the background, then stenciled on some stars with dimensional paste in either corner. Some distressed shabby edges and the coffee image up on foam tape and this card was finished!

When you head to the shop, be sure to check out all our half price caffeinated digis!

If clear stamps are more your style, we happen to have a few lovely coffee themed sets in the shop! Here's a little sampling of some of our most recent hot beverage sets.

Card by Guest Designer Bobi Hart features Winter Gnomes.

Gnome Fun!

Have you had the opportunity to play with the new Winter Gnomes yet? They are so adorable and so much fun to color.

I used Copics to color my sweet image in fun purpley blues and bright greens and added a simple sentiment from the Christmas Wordfetti set. I went clean and simple but textured for the background. I love this one.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you are inspired!

Gnomies for Christmas

Hello Sweet 'n Sassy Stampers!
It's Ceal here, and I am sharing a few cards I created using the Gnome sets. Winter Gnomes and Christmas Gnomes

To make these cards I stared with white card bases and some patterned paper from Echo Park. I stamped and colored each image with Copic markers, cut them out with rectangle dies and then added some patterned paper. I have been challenging myself to use more patterned paper, I have so much and I never use it. I think it worked well with both os these stamp sets.

This one uses the Christmas Gnomes set.

October Release Blog Hop + GIVEAWAY

Welcome to our October Release Blog Hop!

Who's ready for some fabulous inspiration with our October release? Our cardmaking team is super excited to be hopping today, and there's a chance to win a $25 gift code to the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps shop! Read on for a bit of inspiration and a little walk through of this month's fabulous new holiday goodies, then hop along to the blogs linked below to get inspired!

Before I get to the hop, though, we have a very special set available for pre-order starting today!  This set was designed in honor of Nick Saenz, a 17 year old battling bone cancer for the third time. As you can imagine, costs associated with treatment are high, and we wanted to help! Korin designed this set with Nick in mind, and $10 from the sale of EVERY Fear Not set sold (retail), will be donated directly to the Saenz family.

This encouraging set of scriptures on its own will be such a blessing as you encourage others with handmade kindness. Then to be able to help a family in need with the purchase is twice the blessing!
Look for samples with this beautiful set along the hop today!

GIVEAWAY: Leave a little shout out in the comment section on each stop along the way for a chance to win a $25 gift voucher to the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps shop. Comment deadline for the prize drawing is 10 pm ET on Tuesday, October 20. Winner will be announced here on the SNSS blog, Wednesday, October 21. Happy hopping!

Here's the official hop list. If a link misbehaves along the way,
hop on back here to pick  up where you left off.

I used the adorable Winter Gnomes set on this fun wintery slimline card. The background is stamped with snowflakes from the Folk Art Snowflakes in white pigment ink for a soft, subtle look. The sentiment is from the October Stamp of the Month, My Thoughts of You .

Deeds created these fabulous encouragement tags with the new Encouraging Peonies set. Absolutely beautiful!

Nina continues to wow us with her amazing watercolor skills on this fall beauty featuring My Thoughts of You and Autumn Splendor.

Korin pairs Old Fashioned Alpha with Welcome Home on this stunning night scene card.

Guest Designer Lieschen Harshbarger created this happy little neighborhood scene with our new Welcome Home set. What a fabulous way to brighten someone's day!

Okay, the next stop on the hop is my blog, Poetic Artistry, with another creation from me!

Here's a little look-see at the sets included in the October release...

Winter Gnomes

Good morning! Today I have two cards to share using two brand new Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps sets called Winter Gnomes and My Thoughts of You. These gnomes are so cute and I love the sentiments!

For my first card, I layered my gnome over a circle, flag strip, and some snowflakes with the sentiment tucked in.

I used the same paper pack and colors on my second card but this time created a tall, or slimline, style. The striped paper on both cards is glittery and I also added some Stickles to the images and flakes.

Have a great Sunday...enjoy your day!

Diane
