I'm Here for You

Happy Saturday! I love stencils and the new Bubbles stencil is so much fun! Plus, it's easy to mix with other stencils as you will see in today's card.

My card started with a second generation inking of the Grunge Gears stencil(take stencil off project after inking, spritz with water and lay on top of another price of cardstock). Then, I used the brand new Bubbles stencil with orchid opulence and lavender lace ink(SU!) making sure to move the stencil when I changed colors.

The stamped the bold sentiments from Here for You with versafine claire nocturne ink directly on the panel, matted with black and attached to a white card base. The girl image is from A Little Snarky and I adore her. I colored her with Prima watercolors(#'s 20, 22, 24, 41, 10). Her multicolored shirt was a little tricky and I took it slow so it didn't bleed onto the skin. I fussy cut the image out and glued to the front.

I hope you enjoyed today's card and thanks so much for stopping by!

Fake News

Did you hear the news? Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps is turning 14 in November and they have a month of fun things planned to celebrate! So exciting!

A birthday celebration means a new birthday set!  Joyful Day by Julee Tilman is full of sweet and some sassy sentiments. You know I just had to play with the sassy ones first. I paired the sentiment from Joyful Day with some previously released sets(both are on sale though November 7th).

I stamped the background and images with Versafine Claire Nocturne ink on white cardstock and the sentiment on Barely Banana cardstock then heat set. I colored the images with Altenew Artist Markers and fussy cut out.

I added some green stars to the background with the  Starry Night Stencil and Sprout ink. I wanted to double mat my background but did not have the right green cardstock. So, I cut my mat from white and inked up the edges with the Sprout ink to create a coordinated look.

I assembled the card as seen, popping the sentiment and images up with foam tape and adding a few gold stars to complete the card.

Did you know our Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps VIP Group hosts a monthly challenge? November's theme is birthday in honor of Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps turning 14. If your not already a member we would love to have you join us and participate in the fun.

This sale ๐Ÿ‘‡ends Sunday night.

Coffee

Hello Sweet 'n Sassy friends!
It's ceal here to share with a couple of coffee cards with you. I do not drink coffee but I love making coffee cards if that makes sense.
To make these two cards I used the Coffee Talk, the Coffee Talk 2 and the A Little Snarky sets.
For the top card I  started with a white top folding card base and used a stencil to give a subtle background. I stamped the image from the A Little Snarky colored it and fussy cut it out and added it on the partial background that I created. To finish the card I added a sentiment from the Coffee Talk 2 stamp set.

My second card I created in the coloring book style, where you don't color all the images. I used the Coffee Talk, Coffee Talk 2 and the A Little Snarky on this one.

Snarky Girls

Hello Sweet 'n Sassy friends!
It's Ceal here to share a couple cards using the A Little Snarky stamp set. This set was released last month but I added it to my collection this month and I love it.

I have complete details on my blog, Simply Beautiful on how I created these two cards. I love these snarky sentiments and how different the girl looks just by changing her skin tone.

Snarky Girls Unite!

For today's post, I had so much fun with one of the November sets called A Little Snarky. She reminds me of my friend Jennifer - I Love it!

I wanted to try multiple coloring options for her so I created two projects.

The first project is a card. I inked her up on some watercolor paper then used some shimmery Michael's brand watercolors. I splashed some ink over the card and created a shadow around her. I also used some designer paper from my stash (only a billion more pieces to use now :) )

For my second project, I created a page in my mini journal page. I used Distress Oxides for the background then used Texture Tiles 1 and Texture Tiles 3 for the dimension.

I colored up my Snarky Girl with Copics and fussy cut her and glued her onto the page. I added a little washi tape and the sentiment and just need to add her to my journal!

I hope you were inspired today!

Thanks for stopping by!

Who loves polka dots? We've got a FABULOUS new texture tiles set this month. Swiss dots, polka dots, random dots, big dots, small dots... you'll be seeing spots with this awesome Texture Tiles 8 repeatable background set!

Korin puts the swiss dots from Texture Tiles 8 in the spotlight, paired with the new Make a Wish set. She shared this card on her NEW blog. Be sure to check out her AMAZING birthday giveaway. Make a Wish is the next set in our spotlight. The bold fonts  in this extremely versatile birthday set are perfect for both masculine and feminine cards. And the traditional birthday accoutrements like cake, cupcakes, party hats, and candles are so much fun!

I went for a clean mini slimline with lots of white space, wanting to make the fun images and sentiments in Make a Wish take center stage. Love the fun stamp that can be either sprinkles or confetti! I added a little dimension to the hat by curving the paper with my finger, then adding foam tape to the center and then gluing the sides down securely so it stayed rounded.

For our 13th birthday, we thought we'd bring a little bit more sassy to Sweet 'n Sassy with the A Little Snarky set. After all, SNSS is a teenager now! These humorous sentiments are sure to bring a smile.

Janelle brought this set to life with a set of little encouragement cards sure to bring a smile. So clever to use the A Little Snarky hangry sentiment with our Donut Worry set. She also used Grunge Elements 2 on one of the cards.

Our next spotlight set coordinates perfectly with the A Little Snarky set. Humorous Birthday Innies are funny little sentiments perfect for the inside or outside of your cards!

I created a fun slimline birthday card pairing the Humorous Birthday Innies with the new Birthday Gnome DIGI. These sentiments totally make me smile.

Our Creative Worship set this month is sure to light up your studio! Shine Your Light has fabulous encouraging sentiments and lovely lights of all kinds like lanterns, candles, fireflies, and light bulbs. Such a fun set!

Deeds created these gorgeous bookmarks with Shine Your Light. Wouldn't they make the perfect DIY gift for a reader in your life?

That's our November Release in a nutshell! So many fabulous sets to choose from! What's your favorite? Let us know in the comments.

Your next stop on the hop is my blog, Poetic Artistry.

May you be blessed today and always!

A Little Snarky

Good morning! Today I have two cards to share using a brand new Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps set called A Little Snarky. There are several sentiments to choose from in this set...check them out! For the first card, I used the "This too shall pass" one and paired the stamps with some pretty floral paper.

Next I simply put "Listen" on the outside and another stamp on the inside to finish the sentiment. This time I stamped her on pink cardstock and selectively colored a few areas. The corner of the patterned paper was folded back and a bow was stapled in place with a mini staple.

The inside...

Have a great Thursday…enjoy your day!

Snarky is My Superpower!

 Hello Hello!

It is so good to be back after a month long break.  We are celebrating Sweet n Sassy Stamps' 13th birthday this month!  I can still remember the first stamp set I bought from SnSS- cutest snowman ever!  We have so many fun stamp sets to share with you this month; many of them are birthday themed.

One of my favorite sets is the A Little Snarky Stamp Set-oh how we have needed this set!  LOL!

I colored the snarky lady with Copics and fussy cut her out.  My card background was done using a stencil and sponging on color in ombre fashion.  I have finished it off with my favorite sentiment, Sarcasm is My Superpower (and it is, lol).

Next up.  Make a Wish Stamp Set~

This is such a versatile set!  Love, love, love it.  The piece of cake was colored with Copics and then fussy cut out.  I stamped and masked a single candle multiple times to get a grouping of candles.  These were colored with Copics as well and fussy cut out.  I picked out another stencil, this one scattered numbers, perfect for a birthday card.  I sponged the background, then stamped the sentiment from the Humorous Birthday Innies Stamp Set.  I grounded the cake and candles with a black circle and added black sequins to finish off the card.

Lastly, I had a little bit of fun with the Make a Wish Stamp Set!  Is it bad that this is the first thing I 'saw' when I saw this icing???

I kept the card CAS, stenciled a background and popped up the 'emoji' on dimensional tape.  I added a sentiment from the A Little Snarky Stamp Set.

Head over to Sweet n Sassy Stamps to check out all of the November release stamps.  Buy the bundle and save some money!

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a blessed week all!
