Faith-dex Card: Pray without Ceasing
Happy Friday! Today I have a kind of simple but really beautiful faith-dex card.
I used a Heidi Swapp faith-dex die cut and the new Pray Without Ceasing set. While I love the bigger sentiments for their versatility in card making, I really love the more wordfetti type sentiments as they are so comforting. My favorite is "He bends down to listen." It makes me think of a father getting right down on the same level as his child to make sure he is present in the conversation and the child knows he is there, listening, and ready to act as needed. This one really gets me in the feels!

I used water color paper to cut out my card, I used the blending brushes on my desk with the Mosaic Stencil - I didn't add ink to them just used what was left from other projects. I used Distress Oxides to stamp up my wordfetti in in a reverse rainbow and then I felt it was too simple (haha) so I dug through my stack of already colored images and found a leaf set from Botanical Branches which I cut apart to balance up my card. On the back, I added a scripture from the Pray Without Ceasing set for me to memorize:
1 Peter 5:7 - Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
I love how this turned out. It isn't my usual bright color set which is a nice change. I hope you are inspired! Have a wonderful weekend!
Hugs,
Lyn

Mini Botanical Greetings
Happy Friday crafty friends! I hope you had a good week! Today I'm sharing a simple card using stamps from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.
I wanted to keep things very simple so I started with a premade mini slimline card. I trimmed another piece measuring 3 ¼ x 5 ¾. On this piece I stamped images from the Botanical Branches stamp set. Then used my Copic markers to color the images.
Next I used gold watercolor to splatter on the background. After that dried, I stamped one of the sentiments from the Everyday Greetings stamp set. To finish my card, I trimmed another piece out of pattern cardstock to glue to my card base and then I used foam tape behind the front panel to glue it to the card.
I hope you enjoyed today's blog post and that it has given you some inspiration to do something creative this weekend! For more inspiration you can follow me on Instagram.

Watercolor Botanical Branches
Today I have a simple water color project. I stamped one of the Botanical Branches several times with various colors of Distress Ink then I “water colored in the leaves” with those same inks. I spritzed the page and let the ink bleed a bit then I pressed a paper towel to dry it some. I split the panel and inserted a sentiment strip from Be Encouraged in the middle of the pieces to make the stems look longer.

This was really simple but the results are so pretty – I love it! I hope you are inspired today!

Florals and More
Hello!
Have you been enjoying all of the June release inspiration?
Being the floral lover that I am, I could not resist another card using the new Botanical Branches as a filler.
I used the pussy willow stems from the Botanical Branches Stamp Set, coloring them in gray with Copics. The roses and leaves are from the True Beauty Stamp Set and were colored in grays and yellows. Gray and yellow. The color combination has to be one of the most perfect combos there is!
All of the images were fussy cut out. An embossing folder was used on the background panel. All of the pieces were put together and adhered to the card front. The sentiment is from the Encouraging Thoughts Stamp Set; It was stamped on a grey sentiment strip. A few sequins finish the card.
I liked this grouping of images so much that I recreated it in tag form. I needed this tag for a Bible study I will be starting. I am not usually one for tags, but something about this was freeing!
My tag was first sponged with distress inks in various shades of green. Next, texture was added to it but using a darker green with the Fern Fronds Stencil. Lastly, I spattered a bit of white acrylic paint on the background.
Then I used the same rose from the True Beauty Stamp Set and colored it with Copics after stamping with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. The branches are again from the new Botanical Branches Stamp Set and were colored with Copics. Everything was fussy cut out. I added a bit of vellum to the bottom right corner just to soften things a bit then arranged the elements and adhered them to the tag. I finished the tag off with my printed steps and hand lettered title. A couple of ribbons finish it off.
That's it for me! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a blessed day!

Botanical Branches
Today I am sharing cards featuring two of the new June Release sets. I often like to make two cards with the same layout and just change up the colors. I really like to do this when I have an easy layout.
Both my cards today feature Botanical Branches and the June Stamp of the Month Grunge Stripe Background. These two versatile sets will make a great addition to your collection!
For my first card, I stamped the background with Ballet Slipper ink on white cardstock. I die cut and matted on white. I stamped the focal image with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink. Once dry, I colored the image with Arteza Brush Pens(green tea, olive green, rouge pink and red). I fussy cut the image and used a craft knife to get the spots inbetween the leaves. I glued the image to the striped panel and let dry. I wrapped string around the front of the panel and attached it to a white card base popping it up with foam tape. I stamped the sentiment with black ink on a scrap piece of Regal Rose cardstock and affixed to the front.
My second card is the same layout just a different color palette. I used Sahara Sand ink for the stripes and same color cardstock to layer the panel. I colored the image with crocodile green, olive green, bumblebee yellow and cadmium orange Arteza Brush Pens. I stamped the sentiment on Garden Green cardstock and used a natural twine to wrap around the front. For this card, I decided to add a little more color with orange and yellow paint spatters.
I hope you enjoyed today's cards and thanks for stopping by!

snail village
Good morning! It’s the beginning of June already, which means there’s a great new release at SNSS! Today I am sharing a few cards using the new Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps Snail Village Stamp & Die Bundle (also available separately), Botanical Branches, Grunge Stripe Background (the Stamp of the Month!), and the Bitty Hearts Stencil.
I made a soft background for the snail with the new Botanical Branches on my first card. Then I added some colorful, whimsical stripes to go with the "cheerful shello" sentiment. The sentiment was popped with foam tape.
My next two cards are pretty CAS. I used a single stripe from the Grunge Stripe Background here to create a road or path. The snail and balloon are popped up.
I stenciled and sponged the background on the right side of my last card. The mushroom house was cut & layered over top. This is such a cute set!
