Christmas Cookies

Hello Sweet 'n Sassy Friends!
It's ceal, here. Today I am sharing a Christmas card using an older set, Christmas Cookies that now has dies to match.
To make this card I started with a white top folding card base and a panel of kraft Cardstock. I randomly stamped the gingerbread man cookie all over the kraft panel, then partially colored them using colored pencils.
I stamped another gingerbread man on a separate piece of craft cardstock, colored it using OLO markers and colored pencils and popped it on the front.
To finish the card I added some scalloped frames and a Merry Christmas Sentiment.

I shared this one using the same set on my blog and thought I would share it here as well.

Oh snap!

Good morning! How are we already a week into December? Yikes! I have 2 cards to share today using the Sweet ‘n Sassy Christmas Cookies and Sunshine Girl Alpha sets and the December Stamp of the Month: Wood Backgrounds set.

This wood slice background is a lot of fun! I already made 2 cards and have a few other ideas to try. Here I simply paired it with 2 images from Christmas Cookies. I used a white pen to "decorate" them.

For my second card with the cookies, I stamped and colored the gingerbread man, then cut him out. I cut pieces off his arm and leg and glued some bits beside him. The sentiment uses Sunshine Girl Alpha.

Have a great day!
Diane

Cookie Time

{jane bosi}  C'mon you guys!!!  Who is ready for some Christmas baking???  I'm loving this new Christmas Cookies set!  So many fun cards and projects to make!  I just need more time than ideas right now!
I started with a few cards--stamped the images on water color paper and embossed before water coloring using distress inks.  I added some sparkly glitter glue to each image and sentiments from Home For the Holidays and Christmas Wishes.  For the top card, I just couldn't cover any the cookie goodness so I stamped and embossed my sentiment on velum so the whole design could show through.

I'm not sure why I'm so drawn to these images--other than it's the beginning of my favorite time of the year!

Enjoy!  Jane
