Itty Bitty Birthday

Hello Sweet 'n Sassy Stampers!
It's Ceal, here. Today I have a couple cards to share with you. The first one uses the Itty Bitty Blossoms set.
To create this card I started with a top folding white card base and a white panel. I Masked off a one inch strip and then ink blended it with some Peacock feathers distress ink, then stamped some of the florals from the Itty Bitty Blossom set.
This sentiment is from the Birthday Wordfetti set.

The second card uses the Count Your Rainbows set, along with the Coordinating Dies
Wo doesn't love rainbows right?
To make this card I started with a top folding card base, black card stock and some patterned paper.
I stampd the images and colored then using alcohol markers then cut them outwith the coordinating die.

Springtime!

Hello everyone! Today I want to share two springtime cards with you. I love the cute little chicken with the flowers and colored it twice to make these cards.

I colored the images with alcohol markers and cut them out. I colored a couple of leaves from the itty bitty blossoms stamp set too, so I could use them in the background of my first card.

I used a lot of stickers and patterned papers to give the cards more color and a real springtime feeling.

I added a yellow ribbon and some sequins to finish the cards and that's it :).

In His Image

Hello! It's Monika here today with couple of cards using the new Creative Worship: In His Image clear stamp set

My first card also incorporates images from Back to School, Itty Bitty Blossoms, Sentimental Wordfetti and Typewriter Text Background clear stamp sets. I love how it all came together with lots of dimensions and fun elements... without the flowers, this would also make an excellent masculine card!

I stamped the images on water color card stock then colored them with Kuretake Gansai Tambi water colors before cutting them out. The text background was (again) the perfect backdrop... subtle, but still noticeable...

My second card is filled with images just from In His Image clear stamp set. I used masking technique to stamp the bottom panel... then instead of coloring the images, I stamped them with the splatter image using different colors... it's so much fun to add a splash of color this way...

I hope I have inspired you to craft today!

Thank you for stopping by!

Hello

Hello friends, have you jumped on the mermaid bandwagon yet?  If not, this is the perfect set for you, so fun to play with!  Fin-tastic Friends by Jennifer Nilsson.  For my card I first made the sand with oxide ink and added a little texture with one of the stamps from Texture Tiles1. Next I masked off the sand and made the water again with oxide ink and spritz it with water to get the bubble look.  I colored all my characters with Copic Markers and fussy cut them to create my scene.
I decided to make a couple note cards using this month's STAMP OF THE MONTH, SENTIMENTAL WORDFETTI.  I love this set, you can use it alone or with other sentiment stamps for endless possibilities.  I paired it with Itty Bitty Blossoms, I colored with Copic markers and the design papers are both from The Paper Studios. SENTIMENTAL WORDFETTI IS FREE WITH YOUR $60 PURCHASE THIS MONTH!!!  As Always you get FREE SHIPPING WITH A $75 PURCHASE!
Happy Stamping,
~Stephanie

By the Sea & Sentimental Wordfetti

Hello! It's Monika here today with cards using some of the new release images (along with some other favorites)...

Have you been enjoying the fun projects with the July stamp sets? I love the summer theme and the sweet images! The July Stamp of the Month set will be one of my go to sets for sure with the awesome sentiments!

My first card was made with By the Sea clear stamp set:

The background was made with Tranquil Tim Holtz Alcohol ink. It looks really nice in real like... the images were heat embossed with white embossing powder on water color card stock, then colored with Kuretake Gansai Tambi water colors.

The little flower and leaf images are from Itty Bitty Blossoms clear stamp set.
The butterfly image is from Made New clear stamp set.

I hope I have inspired you to craft today!

Pop-up Floral Card and Paper Clip Bookmark

Hello! It's Monika here today with couple of flowery projects. YES... more flowers! I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE flower images!

Have you been enjoying the beautiful projects with the July stamp sets? Oh, they are so much fun... but today, I'm using favorite stamp sets from previous releases...

First up is a cool pop-up bridge card. Jennifer McGuire had an amazing video tutorial the other day and I just had to try to make this fairly easy dimensional beauty...

The big flower came from Delightful Daisies clear stamp set. The image was heat embossed with white embossing powder, colored in with Jane Davenport Mermaid water color markers, and fussy cut... The little flowers are from Itty Bitty Blossoms clear stamp set and they were colored in the same way as my big bloom...
I love clustering these pretty images on top of each other...

The greeting came from Peony Cluster clear stamp set... the banner image came from a retired stamp set, Give Praise... but even a paper strip (or vellum!) would work as the 'bridge'...

My next project is a sweet paper clip bookmark... sometimes the tiniest things can bring the most joy! I had more of the sweet flowers laying on my desk so I just clustered them onto the black die-cut label.

The heat embossed vellum butterfly was sitting on my desk too, so it had to go on it... it's from Made New clear stamp set

I hope I have inspired you to craft today!

Thank you for stopping by!

June showers bring flowers?

Hello! It's Monika here today with some flower cards... it's been a pretty rainy season so far... and even thought it's not raining today, it's been raining flowers in my craft room left and right!

I am obsessed with flowers!

So, first up is a card with the brand new June Stamp of the Month: Happy Irises clear stamp set:

I heat embossed the iris image with white embossing powder then colored it in with Kuretake Gansai Tambi water colors. To embellish the card I used washi tape and rhinestones.

Next is another flower card using an older stamp set, Itty Bitty Blooms clear stamp set:

First I stamped the images on water color card stock with Tuxedo Black Memento ink, then water colored them with Jane Davenport water color markers. Next I spritzed the images with water and after the paint dried, I fussy cut them. I stamped some images onto the background to 'anchor' the base flower cluster. After coloring the images, I spritzed the whole background with water and let the colors freely move around...

The greeting was stamped from the trusty Keep in Touch Too clear stamp set.

I hope I have inspired you to craft today!

Thank you for stopping by!

Backgrounds

Happy Monday!
It's Ceal here to share a couple cards using background techniques to show off our new set, Hymn Word Art. I Love these focal point greetings and there is no better way to showcase them than on a pretty background.
For my first sample I started with a top folding white note card and a panel of Black Onyx for the mat. To create the border I used one of the flowers out of the Happy Day set and stamped it without the leaves. I heat embossed them in white and then using some Gina K inks, I created the rainbow background.

For my second card I also started with a white top folding note card and a white panel. To created a subtile resist background using the leaves from the Scribble Flowers and The Itty Bitty Blossoms sets. I randomly stamped the leaves with Versamark ink over the panel and then blended distress ink. It's hard to see but there are leaves in the background.
