Don't worry drink Coffee!

Hello Everyone!!  It's Sheri Gilson here to share another card as the March/April Guest Designer.   I thought that it would be fun to play along with the Spring 2017 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop that is taking place over on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog by creating a COFFEE THEMED card using The Pick Me Up stamp & due bundle.

For my card I stuck with a simple design with a few layers and shades of brown.  I embossed the background and distressed it with some Kraft ink to give it a coffee stained appearance.

The Pick Me Up stamp set is available individually or as a bundle.  While supplies last the stamp and die bundle is available for an amazing 50% off until it's sold out!!!  You can find it HERE.

Pick Me Up Monday

Happy Monday, Sweet Friends!

Julie, here to share a fun Mixed Media card using the Pick Me Up clear stamp set along with the coordinating Pick Me Up die set.

The background was created using a stencil with Copper Crackle Paste over a piece of designer paper.  Add a bit of Gesso over the paste as well as Distress Stain, distress the edges and layer onto dark brown cardstock, add a ribbon strip with lace and the background is finished.

Stamp the mug, steam, chevrons and sentiment from the Pick Me Up clear stamp set with a dye based ink, color the heart on the mug with a pink alcohol marker and cut out with the coordinating Pick Me Up die set.

Create the tag element by coloring a piece of designer paper with a pink alcohol marker and layer onto dark brown cardstock, add a satin ribbon triple bow to the top of the tag, mount the tag along with the stamped images using dimensional foam and add a rhinestone to the heart to finish off the card.

Thanks for stopping by- have a blessed week!!

Pick Me Up

Hello Sweet Friends!  Julie here to share a fun card created with two sets- Pick Me Up and Grunge Elements.

I love the Pick Me Up stamp set with the Pick Me Up coordinating dies!  The sentiments in the stamp set are perfect for thinking of you along with thank you cards and the cute little coffee (or cocoa) mug with the heart is just adorable!

I also love the Grunge Elements set (and now there is a great Grunge Elements 2 set as well) for adding just that right amount of distressing- on this card I used one of the splatters to mimic spilled coffee- lol!!

I decided to break the “I just want to espresso my thanks” sentiment apart to fit onto a stenciled heart...this is another thing that I love about clear stamps- you can see where you are stamping!  In fact, I will let you in on a secret- I cut this stamp apart so I could center the sentiment but also use the words separately in the future :-)  Again, another reason why I love clear stamps!!

Pick Me Up Dies
During this holiday season, we want to take a moment to “espresso our thanks” to all of you!   May you have a blessed Christmas as we celebrate the greatest gift of all, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!!

Espresso My Thanks

Hello, Angie here with a little "thank you" card to share.  My daughter and I escaped hot Georgia for ten days and received blissful pampering by my sister. Naturally my first card creation upon returning needed to be a thank you!   My sister has a Nespresso machine and treated me to several varieties while I was visiting so I thought the cup and sentiment from Sweet 'N Sassy's, "Pick Me Up Clear Stamp Set" was perfect for the occasion!

Thanks for stopping by!

Thanks a Latte!

Hi there... Jennie here again and I am excited to be guest designing for Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps this month and wanted to share another card using a favorite coffee set: Pick Me Up.
I used some wood grain patterned paper and layered it with a deep red cardstock adhering it onto a kraft cardstock base. The Decorative Frames stamp/die cut provided a nice base for the mug and was stenciled with an argyle pattern. The mug was stamped using Memento Luxe Love Letter ink and embossed using clear embossing powder before adhering it with dimensionals. I did the same with the sentiment along the bottom of the die cut.
Here is a close up:
This is obviously my go to coffee set and LOVE the mug!
I have another SNSS card over on my blog so hope you will pop on over. Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!

Thanks for the Pick Me Up

Hi there... I am excited to be guest designing for Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps this month and wanted to kick off the month using a favorite coffee set: Pick Me Up
I love layering kraft cardstock and for this card I scored along the top of the panel and edged the sides with a Stamper's Big White Pen. It makes it pop when layered onto a kraft base! The images were stamped using Archival ink. I added a couple of wood veneers
Here is a close up:
Isn't this set just the cutest?? Love the mug and it even has coordinating dies!
I have another SNSS card over on my blog so hope you will pop on over. Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!

Just a Little Pick Me Up

Good morning, friends!  It's Cathy here with a little Pick Me Up for you!  Even if you are like me, and  not a coffee drinker, The new Pick Me Up stamp set and matching Pick Me Up Dies are so much fun and perfect for sending darling thank you cards and thoughtful wishes.

Tuesday's Colors and Wednesday's Sketch from Splitcoaststampers were used to design this card along with a few Grunge Elements, stitching, and Modeling Paste texture.

The past several days have been cold and SNOWY here, so I'll just pretend that steamy cup of espresso is really a cup of salted caramel hot chocolate topped off with whipped cream!

Now I'd like to espresso my thanks to you for popping in for a visit today.  Be sure to check out the fabulous sale going on right now at the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Store where you can get a 50% discount on selected stamp sets.

Joyful Greetings...

Hello! It's Monika here today, bringing you a Christmas card... I know, I know... you are all ready for Spring! I am ready too, but Mother Nature thinks otherwise, and we still have snow on the ground and another snow storm on its way! So might as well be Christmas... and on that note, have you seen the ON SALE promotion? There's a pretty SWEET deal going on on some of the products. Perfect time to do some shopping! Just call it Christmas in March!

Back to my card... I wanted to make more Christmas cards this year, and my plan was to make one every week... well, I am way behind, but today I can add one more to my slowly growing stash!

There's so much going on my card, so I wanted to break it down for you and show you what I did:

First I used Embossing (Modeling) Paste and a stencil, and added some pretty pattern (and texture) to my white card stock, then I misted it with pink glimmer mist. (Note: while the paste dries very fast, you might want to set the card aside, or dry it with a heat tool.)

Next I stamped the arrow lines from the new Pick Me Up clear stamp set, stitched some lines, and adhered a strip of silver glitter paper.

Then... I added green thread to my card. I love that subtle look it gives to your project. I used a sticky dot, and adhered the thread. I like to do it in a figure 8 pattern. (Note: I made sure the loops were big enough so they would show from underneath the poinsettia image.)

My poinsettia flower (Poinsettia clear stamp set) is stamped on vellum with VersaMark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. (Note: I usually stamp and heat emboss a bunch and cut them out while watching TV). To add color to the flower, I used a Copic marker on the back side of the smaller flower. The greeting is from Christmas Tags clear stamp set (on sale and will be gone... so pick it up now!).
To further embellish my card, I die-cut some leaves and added some blings... the bottom corners were punch with a corner punch.
The sketch came from Cardabilities Sketch #95.

Hope I inspired you to make something pretty today! Whether it's a Christmas card or a Spring card, create something for FUN!
Thanks for stopping by,
Monika

Thanks A Latte

Good morning friends, today I am sharing a card with you that uses our cute new set Pick Me Up along with the coordinating dies. This set makes the cutest cards.  To make my card I started with a 4.25 X 5.5 piece of Kraft cardstock and added some designer paper. I stamped the cup image and used the coordinating die to cut it out. To finish it I added a little heart border.

Thanks for stopping by and happy stamping!

Espresso my thanks!

Good morning!

Jessica here with a card to share today that I made with a couple of the new March stamp and die sets through Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps: Pick Me Up and Borders & Backgrounds.

The flag banners at the top of the card are from the arrow die in the Pick Me Up stamp set - fun!  I used linen white card stock to die cut the border dies and purposely didn't stamp them cleanly, as I wanted a bit of the texture of the paper to show through.

Have a great day!
Jessica

Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps March Sneak Peek
Hello sweet friends!
It's time for a Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps March Sneak Peek (you're going to love this fabulous release)!
It's chock-a-block full of fun trendy stamping love!  And the design team has been busy creating beautiful samples to chase away those winter blues (pleeeease)!    Let's share a cup of coffee while I tell you what inspired me to create today's sneak peek card sample.

I love Holley Gerth's inspirational blog ~ writer, author, and counselor, Holley,  encourages me each day with words that are just spot on.  She speaks my language!   She reaches out with words that draw me in and wrap me with love and acceptance ~ no matter what kind of day I've had, or am having.     The Father gives us "living water" to keep us nourished and hydrated so that we may in turn pour out his love to others when the holy spirit speaks to our hearts.  A river of living water where grace and mercy abound.

Do you know of anyone who could use a cup of encouragement today?    It may be your visit or phone call that makes all the difference, and refills the heart of another.   May the words of our mouths be as living water, filled up and poured out to the glory of God.
"He who believes in Me, as the scripture has said,
out of his heart will flow rivers of living water."   John 7:38
Thanks a Latte!
I'll see you back here on Saturday for the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps March Release Blog Hop!
Blessings,
