Merry Little Christmas

Hello Sweet 'n Sassy stampers!

It's Ceal, here. Today I am sharing a Christmas card using several different holiday sets.

To create my card I started with a top folding white card base and a white panel. I stamped the pine bough from the Christmas Pine set across the top of the panel and then ink blended some distress at the top. I stamped an ornament from the Antique Ornament set and also colored it using Copic markers then cut it out with the coordinating die

To finish the card I added the sentiment from the Holiday Greetings set embossed in gold.

antique ornaments

Hello! Today I am sharing a few cards using the Antique Ornaments set (sold in a bundle and separately). I also used Wonder of Christmas (also sold in a bundle and separately), Pinecone Background, and Spectacular Snowflakes.

There's just something about antique ornaments that brings back memories and evokes feelings of nostalgia. I instantly remember the bubble lights that accompanied them! My cards today were created with those images and memories in mind. In fact, my first card was colored to resemble an antique Christmas card.

I threw out traditional colors in my second card and went with colorful, old-fashioned ornaments.

My last card started out monochromatic but then I decided to add some green branches to hang it from.

Have a great day!
Diane

Wintery Wilderness Wonderland

Hello crafty friends! I hope your week went well! I for one am looking forward to this weekend to do some fun crafty projects.

Have you checked out this month's new release over at Sweet 'n Sassy stamps? It's all so adorable! You need to check it out!

For today's card I'm using the new stamp and die set released this month called Warm Winter Friends. Foxes are one of my favorite animals, so I couldn't wait to make a card with the cute fox that comes in that set!

I created a mini slimline base card measuring 7x6 with scoring on the 7 inch side at 3½. For the front panel I used some watercolor paper measuring 3¼ x 5¾.

I then used watercolors to paint freehand a tree for the background. Then on leftover watercolor paper I stamped the cute fox and ornaments from the Warm Winter Friends set. I colored those with watercolors as well.

To finish the card, I splattered some white pearl watercolor to make it look like snow and glued in place the sentiment and the colored images from the Warm Winter Friends set onto the front panel of the card. I also used some distress glitter to make it look like snow.

I hope you have enjoyed today's post! I really had fun coloring these images with watercolors!

You brighten my day!

Hello crafty friends! It’s another fun Friday! And today is even more fun because Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps has a new release!
This new release is amazing! If you love Christmas as much as I do, you’ll love it too!

For today’s card I used the new stamp set called Antique Ornaments. This set also has coordinating dies.  The fun thing about this set is that it comes with these little lights that you can use not just for a Christmas card but also for a "just because card" and pair it with a simple sentiment.

After stamping the images on white card stock, I used my Copic markers to color the light bulbs. To finish the card I added glossy accents to the light bulbs, some sequins & embellishments, and a sentiment from the new (cute!) stamp set called Warm Winter Friends. This set also comes with coordinating dies.

I hope you have liked today's card project! Do check out the new release, you will love it!

As always, I do hope this has given you some inspiration to do something fun and creative today. Until next time!
