Congrats Grad

Hello Everyone!!  It's Sheri Gilson here with a couple Graduation cards to share with you.  I'm in complete denial that my baby will be graduating high school next week!! Where did the time go?!?!

For my cards I used the Congrats Grad Stamp & Die Bundle.  You can also purchase the Congrats Grad stamp set separately. Another option you can find in the store is the Graduation Digital Stamp Set.  I originally planned to incorporate school colors in the design but then decided to stick with a classic color combo when I found these foiled velum sheets in my stash.

You Did It...
Congrats Grad!

Way to Go...

Congrats Grad!

Hello! It's Monika here today, with a graduation card.
Yes, it's that time of the year! Summer is almost here. While I don't make a lot of graduation cards, this year I had to make a special one since my son is graduating from 8th grade!
I picked his school colors, blue and gold/yellow.

The background is lightly water colored/smooshed with light blue ink. Then I just stamped the images from Congrats Grad clear stamp set randomly. To soften the look, I added a vellum panel (attached with mini staples), before attaching the graduation cap and the greeting. The cap was colored with water color.

Thank you for stopping by,
Monika

Congrats Grad!

Hello! It's Monika here today, bringing you a graduation card. I've been enjoying making CAS (clean & simple) cards with just a little twist to add a nice interest.

I started out with making the water color background. I swiped my ink pad on my craft sheet, spritzed it with water, and placed a piece of water color card stock over it, then lifted the card stock up immediately. To speed up the drying time, I used my Heat Tool. It is a fun technique, and you get a different look each time...

Next I stamped the different greetings on the card stock with gray ink, making my own custom background. How cool is that?

It is the perfect backdrop to the images from Congrats Grad clear stamp set. They were colored with Copic Markers. I brushed the yellow parts with Clear Wink of Stella for a touch of sparkle. While I fussy cut the images with scissors, there is a coordinating dies: Congrats Grad Die Set.

Thanks for stopping by,
Monika

Class of 2015

Oh my, this time of year has taken on a whole new meaning to me as our oldest is just a year away from graduating High School!  Phew, I get choked up just thinking about it. So glad we have one more year but many of my friends are experiencing their first child's graduation THIS year so I have been loving Sweet 'N Sassy's "Congrats Grad" stamp set that also has coordinating "Congrats Grad Dies".

I used Splitcoaststampers SC538 Sketch and added a piece of blue lace using "Doily Border Dies".  I popped up the graduation certificate and the sentiment banner that is included in "Banner Dies".  Isn't that a fun shaped banner?

Thanks for stopping by!

You Did It!

{jane bosi}  Happy Saturday, Sweet Friends!  As the weather continues to warm, my thoughts are on the winding down of the school year, summer fun, pools and road trips!

I work at our local high school and this week, the seniors were picking up their cap and gowns.  Such an exciting time in their lives!!  Naturally, I'm thinking about graduation!  My kiddos are still a bit too young (thank goodness--I'm just not ready!).  But, I know plenty of young people who are moving out in to the world soon!

My card features the new Congrats Grad stamp set and dies.  My main image panel has a few stars cut out and is popped up on dimensional tape for added interest.  I also used a sentiment from the Congrats Grad set to finish off the inside.
What ever you do today, make it a great one!  Don't forget to be awesome!
TTFN--Jane

Congratulations!

Hi all!  Kim here today to share a CAS card, featuring one of our latest releases, Congrats Grad.  This great set, selling for just $9.00, includes the two images seen on my card along with six sentiments that you can use to congratulation the graduate in your life.

My card shows off the Congratulations sentiment, not once, not twice, but five times; all stamped using different colors of Archival Ink.  The hat and diploma images were stamped on cardstock, colored with Copics, and attached with foam tape.  Easy peasy!

Enjoy today's card and be sure to shop back by on Friday (April 17) for our new release blog hop!
