Double Dose of Caffeine

Hey sweet friends! It's Julee Tilman, popping in to share a double dose of caffeine featuring two different looks with my Special Blooms set.

For this first card, I colored the cup and the bloom image with Copic markers, then accented with white gel pen.  I cut with the coordinating dies. If you're inspired to shop, you'll save a bit if you buy the stamp set and dies together in this bundle.

I was feeling like getting my fingers inky, so pulled out some kraft cardstock and stenciled it with the Grunge Dots and Paint Splatters Stencils in varying shades of brown ink. Next I embossed the sentiment directly on the panel and inked around the edges.

The butterfly was already colored and fussy cut from a previous art session. It's from the Spread Your Wings stamp set and I had coated it with embossing ink and sparkle embossing powder for extra shine.  I then decided placement and stamped the same butterfly in black directly on my stenciled panel and popped up the butterfly to finish things off.

My second card is a simple one, making use of patterned paper from my stash for an easy layout. The sentiment is stamped onto a die cut circle, then I added the cup and bloom image and a bit of skinny ribbon from days gone by. There you have it, one stamp set... two different looks.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope your day is filled with lots of happy.

Keep Swimming

Hi friends! It's Julee popping in today with a colorful little encouragement card.

As soon as I saw the Paint Splatters Stencil I knew I wanted to do a rainbow background with it.  So I pulled out a rainbow of ink pads and got to work.  The background seemed like it would go with the fun critters from Fin-tastic Friends, and Mer-mazing, so I stamped them out, colored with Copics, then cut them out.

The keep swimming sentiment is from Mer-mazing and I embossed it in white on black cardstock and doodled a frame around it,  I thought it would be fun if the lobster was holding the sign.  The friend is cut with the new Friend Word Die, and I added it behind the lobster, so the two sentiments are connected.  A little glossy glaze on the eyes, and this fun card was done.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a fabulous day.

thank you

Good morning! Today I am sharing two cards using the new Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps Stamp of the Month, Thank You. I also used the fun, new Summer Vibes Stamp & Die Bundle (also available separately).

For my first card, I cut part of the card front off diagonally, then added a strip of black to the edge. The patterned paper was added to the inside. I stamped the pineapple, inking it with various colors, and then masked it to add the splatters with the Paint Splatters Stencil. The cherries were stamped, die cut, and popped up with foam tape.

For my second card, I cut various colored strips of cardstock which are 1" x 3" and 1 1/4" x 3". Then I stamped several of the "thank you" words on each and layered them all onto a black strip and trimmed the sides. A popped up, die cut flower finished the card.

Have a great day...stay cool and dry!
