You Are Treasured ~

Mary's Version of No-line colouring

Good Morning Sweet'n Sassy Friends! Mary here to share with you my version of no-line stamping. Treasured was just featured on the Sweet Perks Club with a new matching Treasured die! So, I wanted to use this set for my technique. Let's get started!
Gather your materials - here I have my stamp of choice, a light memento ink and my copic markers.
Stamp your image of choice onto Copic compatible cardstock with a light coloured Memento ink. I used Desert Sand on Neenah Cardstock.
Colour your image with your copic markers, blending your colours accordingly.
Once, you are finished, die cut your image and finish your card to your liking.
Materials:
Stamps: Treasured
Inks: Memento Desert Sand, Versafine Vintage sepia, Copics
Paper: Neenah CS, SU CS and DSP
Accessories: SNSS dies, SU dies, Ribbon

Here is another sample I made using this same technique. This card features Praise the Lord set and matching bluebird die.
I so love the soft look this technique creates, why not grab your favourite SNSS image, your favourite medium and create a card? I look forward to seeing your creations!

Have a wonderful Week!!

February 2015 Sweet Perks Reminder

Hello friends!  Time is running out to take advantage of our February Sweet Perks Club.  The bundles we are offering this month will only be available until Thursday, February 5, 2015.  Each stamp and die set will then be added to the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Store
at the full price.

If you have not had a chance to take a look at the SWEET bundles for this month, just take a look!

Get Well Critters Bundle…how cute is this!

I've been having lots of fun with the Get Well Critters Bundle.

The Sweet Sunday Sketch for this week was used for the design of my card and since this adorable chick is smaller than 2 1/2" it qualifies for the Teeny Art Challenge today on Splitcoaststampers.  If you were feeling fowl, wouldn't receiving this card just make you smile?

Keep in Touch, Too Bundle…so versatile!

Korin chose to create a background with some of the "birthday" sentiments from this set and then used the banner to pop up a bolder sentiment.  The sweet elephant is from the Valentine Critters stamp set and die set.

This favorite stamp set now has a brand new die!

Korin went with muted colors for this bluebird....looks more like the female with that lighter blue.  The pretty border is one of our Doily Border dies cut apart and stretched to highlight the top and bottom of the sentiment panel.

One more thing before you go...
We are selling out of many stamps and dies from our Out With the Old Sale. Now is the time to pick up those stamp sets you have had on your wish list for a while if they are still available!  Once they are sold out, they will not be reordered.

So what are you waiting for…hurry off to the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Store for a good deal.

Be sure to join us next Friday for our
February Release!  Our release party will be Thursday, February 5th at 8pm EST on our Facebook page.

Thanks for stopping by…have a blessed day!

live love bloom

Hello friends!  August is slowly drawing to a close...I hope you've enjoyed your summer!  As we look toward another season of change, I am thankful for the beauty God surrounds us with.  Each season brings something wonderful!

I couldn't decide which card to share again today...lol...so I have 3 different cards, all in shades of pink or red.

My first card is a springy / summery card.  I just LOVE this bird image from the Praise The Lord stamp set!  I paired it with a sentiment from Be Encouraged.  The bird and flowers are popped up.

Next I have a card with my Prim Blessings from this month's release.  This Fall-ish set was used for a summery card by changing the tones of brown in the sunflower to shades of pink.  I also used the fun triangle die from the Shape dies.

And finally, I have a simple Christmas card to share.  I like to make a few cards each month so I don't have a lot to make all at once.  When I saw this month's set, God Is, it reminded me of The Little Drummer Boy...perfect for a Christmas card!  I simply printed the words on my computer and stamped the boy above.

Have a wonderful week and enjoy your last bit of summer!

♥  Diane

Give Thanks

Hi everyone, Kim here wishing you a blessed Sunday!  Today I'm sharing a "blast from the past" card.  This is a card that I created maybe over a year ago but have never shared on the Sweet 'n Sassy blog.  Today's weather was so beautiful and full of sunshine that I just had to find a card that reminded me of spring to showcase on today and this one was perfect!

This stunning bird and cherry blossom image is from the Praise the Lord stamp set and for those of us living in New England, the arrival of warmer weather is certainly a cause for praise and thanksgiving!  It truly is so good to hear the chirping of birds again outside our windows.

I colored my image with Copic markers and combined the main panel with designer paper from October Afternoon.  The tiny sentiment on this card isn't actually included in the set but is one that I keep on hand for I only have space for a small saying.  The set actually includes five sentiments, one of which is a wonderful portion of Psalm 28.

I hope you enjoyed today's card and that the birds are joyfully singing in your neck of the woods today!

Praise the Lord ~

I love when the stamp set and die coordinate beautifully!!! My heart sings when it all comes together...It is indeed the little things that bring me Joy. I have been into crisp fall cards recently that I felt a need to divert  my attention to pretty birds and flowers for this post. Praise the Lord is a beautiful set that comes with one scripture and four sentiments/declarations. I combined the Kindness die flowers as my embellishments and placed pearls in the centre of each blossom for a complete look.

Why not pull out your sets and see what kind of combinations you can coordinate with your dies? Check out the dies in the store if you don't own any SNSS exclusive dies.

Thank you for stopping by and have a blessed day!
~Mary

He put a new song in my Heart

Hello all. I'm here with my last blog post for Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps as my term is up the end of this month. I would like to take this moment to thank Korin for having me on her team.

I used Praise the Lord for my card today. I decided to pull out my prismacolor pencils for the bird and blended them with odorless minerals. I used copics for the rest of the image. Kept my card pretty clean as I didn't want anything to take away from the image.

Thanks for stopping by,

Amber

The Lord is my Strength...

When Korin first showed me the set, Praise the Lord, I fell in love with it. And then I saw a card that fellow DT member, Talyor Usry, posted on her blog that inspired me to make the card I am showing today.

Isn't this beautiful? Just the sentiment as the focal point with a little bit of sponging. I love how this turned out. And I can't wait to make more in different colors! Hugs, Amber
