You Complete Me

Goodness, it's so fun when you organize your stamp room and find things you haven't used yet because they were "covered up" with other things! Like these fun Speech Bubbles dies.  I have had them for a long time, but put them in a place they shouldn't have been, and just rediscovered them!

I had the stenciled background done and in a "to use later" envelope, and it fit perfectly with the little CAS card I had in my head! Both the sentiment and the image are from You & Me.

I plan to give this to a girlfriend whom I am meeting for supper tonight! An actual ten-minute card!

My Therapist

Hi there, Sweet 'n Sassy Friends. It's Ceal here to share a fun card with you. How many of you can relate to what Sassy Cindy has to say? It's truth for me my therapist definitely wags his tail. I talk to my dog, Willis all the time and he just listens haha. If you're a dog lover like me then the Puppy Love set is definitely one you will want to add to your collection. And we did not leave you kitty lovers out in the cold, there is a set for you too, Kitty Love.

Here are the supplies I used

You're Only...

Hi friends!  Kim here today to share a card featuring the Sassy Cindy stamp set. I think I could be good friends with Cindy...I like her spunk and her one liners are hysterical!  Seriously, only as old as that Facebook photo, which you know is the best one I could find! LOL!

For this card, I used a whole lotta layers, patterns, and textures. When I work with a smaller image, I tend to either like to keep things very clean and simple, or add lots of goodies.  This week, it was lots!

When I started, I knew that I wanted to frame Cindy, so she didn't appear to just be floating on the card.  The frame keeps her grounded...and this looks like a nice window.  I created the window by using one of the largest dies from the Decorative Plaques set.  Once the shape was cut, I kept the die in place and used an Exact-o knife to cut out the middle, using the die as a guide.  (The dies also have a coordinating stamp set, Decorative Frames.  I did use the stamp with the die.)

Once Cindy was colored, with pencils, I simply cut my cardstock to fit behind the window.  The entire window was attached with foam tape.  The sentiment fits perfectly into one of the Speech Bubbles dies (oh man, I LOVE these dies), and I just added a few mini peals as accents.

I hope you enjoyed today's card!  And, remember, don't update that photo if you don't have to...LOL!

Paw Prints on my Heart

Hello Friends!

Jenny here with a bright and cheerful card using
the brand new stamp set Puppy Love.
I just adore all the little dog silhouettes
and sweet sentiments in this set!

This little guy was stamped, fussy cut and
nestled in some grass I created with my fringe scissors.
The heart border is from the Scalloped Hearts and Borders
die set.  I've noticed that lately that has been my go to border.
I stamped my sentiment on a Speech Bubble and added
some Rain Drops for a little bling.

I have just the special little girl to give this to.
She just lost her dog, and I want her to know
that I am grieving with her and that I love her.

Isn't it great that we card makers can convey
how much we are thinking of someone by taking
the time to create a hand made card?
I love that about this little hobby of mine :)
