You Matter

 Happy Saturday Stampers! This is Michelle here with a new card to share. I wanted to make a simple card that would work for a man or a women. I used the new stamp set Here for You, The Lord's Battle stamp set and the Jesus Paid it All die. Here's a look at the card.

This card is so easy to make. I ink blended on a white piece of cardstock. It measures 4x4.75 inches. I blended a yellow, orange and red ink on the panel. Then I die cut the Jesus Paid it All die in  cardstock. I then took the cardstock piece and used it as a stencil. I'll keep the actual die cut for another card. I used my new stencil with black ink. I then stamped the sentiment from the Here for You stamp set. The word Jesus is from The Lord's Battle stamp set. I added a dash with a pen in front of Jesus so it would look like Jesus was saying it. I cut a piece of black cardstock at 4x5.25 inches. So this gives the card a black stripe at the top and the bottom of the card. I didn't add any bling so it could be used for a man if needed. So easy, right?

The New Leaf Branch Stencil

This is Michelle from East Bay Stamp Chick here with a new card share. Have you seen the new Leaf Branch Stencil from the March Release? It's a WOW!! On my card today it meets glitter glaze on a gel print. So here's my card

For my card, I pulled out a gel press print from my stash. Then I cut it to 4x5.25 so it would fit an A2 size card base. I then tacked down the new Leaf Branch Stencil over the print. I used a glitter glaze from my stash  and applied it over the stencil. You can tell in the photos it's a light almost transparent glaze. It's opaque enough to give some shine and pattern to the card panel but softly. I let it dry for a couple of hours before I finished the rest of the card. I used the new Spread Your Wings stamp set for the butterfly image and the sentiment. I used alcohol markers to color the butterfly. Both the butterfly and the sentiment are popped up on foam squares. I added a few sequins for additional bling.

Adding a stencil to a print you already have is an easy way to add a little something extra to the card panel, whether you use glitter glaze or ink.
