Stand Tall- Happy Birthday!

Hi Sweet Friends!

Wow! What a fabulous new Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps release this past Friday!!

Today I am sharing a card that I created using the brand new Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps (SNSS) Stand Tall Clear Stamp Set (designed by Korin Sutherland).  I love this new stamp set, it is so cute and the sentiments are perfect for many occasions!

To create this card:

1). Emboss a piece of designer paper with a lattice embossing folder, trim and mount onto flamingo cardstock, trim and mount onto the chocolate card base.

2). Die cut two banners with a stitched banner die (I used a flamingo cardstock and a chocolate patterned paper from my stash), adhere both directly to the card front per the sketch and add the patterned paper rectangle.

3). Die cut a piece of white and patterned paper with a stitched rectangle die, mount each onto chocolate cardstock and trim both close to the die cut edge.  Add the patterned paper rectangle directly to the card front on an angle.

4). Ink the group of hearts image from the SNSS Stand Tall Clear Stamp Set with archival black ink, stamp onto the white die cut rectangle and color with a flamingo water-based marker.

5). Heat emboss the giraffe image from SNSS Stand Tall Clear Stamp Set  with black embossing powder onto white cardstock and color the image with water-based markers.  Add white highlights to the eyes with the Sharpie Extra Fine White Paint Pen.  Fussy cut the giraffe and adhere to the white die cut rectangle.

6). Mount the fussy-cut SNSS Stand Tall giraffe image panel onto the card with dimensional foam.

7). Heat emboss the sentiment from the SNSS Stand Tall Clear Stamp Set with white embossing powder onto chocolate cardstock, hand cut the banner and mount onto the card front.

8). Die cut the hearts using the SNSS Pick Me Up Dies- a small and large heart from flamingo cardstock and a large heart from chocolate cardstock.  Add to the card front to finish off the card.

This was a fun card to create!  Thanks again for taking the time to visit!  Hugs and I hope you have a fabulous week, sweet friends!

Stand Tall Valentine!

Hi Sweet & Sassy Friends! I am so excited to be back on the Design Team with all of the talented designers.   Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps has their brand new release of several new stamp sets to the SNSS line and the Creative Worship line.  Be sure to check out our Face Book Page to see all the new sets which are available for pre-order NOW!!

On today's card, I used two of the new sets. I just love this adorable Giraffe, as it reminds me of my son when he was a toddler. His favorite toy was a stuffed giraffe. This set is called Stand Tall. I stamped the image using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored the images with my Chameleon Markers.

I have some of my favorite papers from Basic Grey called Out of Print in my stash, and I thought it would go well with the giraffe. I adhered the white cardstock to the patterned paper and used red cardstock as my base. In the upper corner, I stamped the NEW Lynzee Script  Alpha stamp"V" in red ink and matted in red and black cardstock, that I punched out with a 1 3/8" circle punch and a scallop punch. Using black and white gingham ribbon, I created two streamers and mounted them using pop dots from the base of the "V" circle.

This set is so fun and will make adorable Valentine's, however, it offers great versatility for cards of encouragement, love and friendship.

Parisian Hello

Hi Sweet Friends!

Today I am sharing a Freestyle Collage style Mixed Media card that I designed using using Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps (SNSS) Parisian Postcard ClearStamp Setalong with Grunge Elements and the new Creative Worship stamp set, Rebecca Script Alpha (all available at Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps).

To create this card:

1). Ink the SNSS Parisian Postcard ClearStamp Set Eiffel Tower image with Versamark™ ink, stamp onto a piece of white cardstock, apply black embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool.  Once the embossing has cooled, fussy-cut the image and set aside.

2). Ink the floral image from theSNSS Parisian Postcard Clear Stamp Set with black soot distress ink, stamp onto white cardstock, create a mask for the image and stamp the remaining collage images from the SNSS Parisian Postcard Clear Stamp Set with antique linen distress ink.

3). Ink a few of the postage images along with the postcard image from the SNSS Parisian Postcard Clear Stamp Set with  Versamark™ ink, stamp onto the panel, apply gold embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool.

4). Remove the mask for the flowers and use water-based markers to watercolor the flowers (being careful around the edges since the black soot distress ink is not waterproof), dry with the heat tool.
After the ink had dried, I used a thin black marker to redefine a few of the lines on the petals and stamped the SNSS Grunge Elements image (I used a small piece of the large splatter stamp) with black ink to add the splatter between the images.

5). Trim a piece of white cardstock, mount onto a piece of black cardstock, trim once more and mount onto the white card base.  Add the striped gold vellum cardstock (I used glue beneath the gold stripes to hide the adhesive).

6). Trim the collage panel, mount onto a piece of black cardstock and mount onto the card front.

7). Ink the letters from the SNSS Rebecca Script Alpha Clear Stamps to spell “Hello” with black soot distress ink and stamp onto white cardstock.  Create the banner by hand cutting the flag end before mounting onto black cardstock and mirror cutting the banner.

8). Add the hello banner directly to the card front and mount the SNSS Parisian Postcard embossed Eiffel Tower image with dimensional foam.

9). Add a few black shimmery sequins to finish off the card.

I hope I have inspired you today with this fun Mixed Media card- hugs and have a blessed week, sweet friends!

God is Always With You

Hi all!  Angel here and I'm so excited to be guesting on the SNSS Blog this month!  My card features the newly released God is For You stamp set.  It's a very sweet sentiment set, perfect for so many occasions.  I watercolored a background with a few different inks, then ran it through my machine with an embossing die.  Since that background layer turned out so cool ;-) I decided to only add some twine for extra embellishment.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Be sure to check out the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps store to see ALL of the new sets!

HUGS,

Angel

As the Deer

Hello Sweet 'n Sassy friends!  Cathy here with some new release news!  Tomorrow Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps will be releasing several new stamp sets to the SNSS line and the Creative Worship line.  Be sure to check out our Face Book Page to see all the new sets which will be available for pre-order tomorrow, Friday, January 13th!  In the mean time here is a little sneak peek for you made with a new stamp set called As the Deer designed by our newest designer, Jennifer Rydin:

How cute is that little deer.  This wonderful stamp set includes 16 images, a banner, and 14 words which can be used to create your own verse or sentiment.  Copics were used to color the little scene and some of the images were fussy cut and popped up on the card.  The card design was inspired by the Splitcoaststampers Sketch from yesterday.

Be sure to check out the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Store on Friday to see all of the wonderful new sets and look forward to more fabulous samples posted right here by the Creative Team!

Remember…God Loves You!!  Happy stamping!
Hugs,

Brightest Stars

Happy Sunday!
It's Ceal here to share with you today.
I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year!
One of my goals for the new year is to send out more handmade kindness.  I have several friends going through tough times and needed some encouragement cards and this set was perfect!  I started with a white top folding card base and a black panel. I embossed the greeting from the Inspiration Word Art 2 with white embossing powder and then diecut three different stars using Star dies  and used the negative space and added the smaller (galaxy) stars with a white gel pen.  Easy card with an encouraging message.

Cheesy hello.

Hello Sweet Friends! It's Monika here today with a CUTE card... CUTE is not my middle name so it's not easy for me to come up with CUTE and fun cards... I am a flower and butterfly kind of girl... anyhow... this turned out pretty CUTE.

The CUTE little mouse image is from Furry Friends clear stamp set. I stamped the images on water color cardstock, then colored them with Tim Holtz distress inks. Fussy cutting the tiny images took me a while, but it was well worth the time...

The circles were die cut with Lifestyle Craft circle dies. Do you see cheese when you look at the card? My husband thought the circles were holes for coins... hmmm! That is not the look I went for...

The background looked too white so I stamped it with some splatters from Grunge Elements clear stamp set. It added the perfect subtle back drop to those cheese holes!
The greeting is from Keep in Touch, Too clear stamp set. It is a must have set with all those different sentiments. I love a set with variety.

Thanks for stopping by,
Monika

let's purrrrty

Good morning and...Happy New Year!

Today I am sharing a card using the LOL Cats stamp set and the Number Dies.  Of course, the numbers need to be shiny for a brand new year...so I pulled out a pack of foiled papers to die cut them with.

I also gave kitty a sparkly hat and horn with some Stickles.

From all of us on the Sweet 'n Sassy team, have a happy, safe, and very blessed 2017!

Thanks for popping in and… happy stamping!
Diane
