Blessings Wreath ~

Good morning Sweet'nSassy friends and fans! Mary here, sharing a very simple card combining different dies and actually coloured a wreath! That is a huge plus for me. My life has been overrun with life.

My card features the recently released Hillside Edges Die (can we say, oh so cute!!!) combined with Seasonal Wreaths and matching dies. While I didn't think these two went together, I talked myself into thinking that they looked like the Dickens village that people place on mantels or tree skirts. So, why not?

SNSS is having a Black Friday Sale!!!! Who doesn't love a great sale? Be sure to check out the online store first thing Friday!
Materials Used:
Stamps: Seasonal Wreaths
Inks: Tombow markers, Versafine ink, QQ powder puff inks
Paper: SU

The Holidays are Just Around the Corner!

Hello Everyone!
I am so glad you are visiting today.  Can you believe it is almost November?!  I love this time of year-the colors, the smells and the crisp air; and there is nothing like the season's first fire in the fireplace, which I enjoyed last night. When stamping fall cards, I typically prefer harvest scenes, pumpkins and leaves,  but I could not resist using this grinning spider and the 'Boo" sentiment, both from the Buggin' Ya Stamp Set.  This is about as scary as it gets in my house!

I was inspired by this week's  featured stamper, Mary-Alice, on Splitcoaststampers  to use the doodling.
I inked up a stamp from the Seasonal Wreaths set to create this contemporary Christmas card.  This is such a versatile set and there are several images and sentiments that can be used for Christmas cards.

I embossed the wreath with silver ep and colored it with Copics.  I stamped it a second time with Memento Black ink and colored the bow with Copics.  Both images were cut out using the matching dies. I cut the colored bow away from the rest of its image and adhered it onto the bow on the embossed wreath, popping it up with a dimensional.
Thanks so much for stopping by the Sweet 'n Sassy blog.  I hope I have inspired you to get creative today!

Happy Birthday Wreath

Hi everyone!  It's Kim here to share a birthday card I created using the Seasonal Wreaths set.  And the fun idea that popped in my head as I sat down to make my card...

I love all of the wreaths included in this great set (five in all!) but I was really drawn to the one made from small circles...it reminded me of those Christmas ornament wreaths you see from time to time over the holidays.  I just knew that I didn't want to color all those little circles so I grabbed my bag of Liquid Pearls and got to to work!  It only took a few minutes to fill in all of the circles with pink, silver, and yellow...and it took about 24 hours for all that liquid to dry!

Once the pearls were set I created by card using coordinating colors (the paper is from My Minds Eye) and a sketch from a recent Paper Crafts magazine.  I added the Friendship Script in the background along with some rhinestone bling!  I hope you enjoyed today's card and that you're inspired to think about coloring mediums other than markers...

Enjoy!

Square cards

Hello everyone! I have 2 cards to show you today. Let start with this 5" square Christmas card. Here I used Poinsettia Set and matching die. I had a lot of fun creating the background for this card, actually I made a whole page and just cut a piece for this card, so I have a lot more left to use :) First, I sprayed the watercolor page, then added Gelatos in Banana, Acqua Dolce and Blood Orange, mixed them all, then I used Mister Hueys's Sunset and Estate Green. After that I combined Embossing Paste and Amber Gold Paint and added it to the page using a chicken wire template, then let it dry (it takes few hours). Then I die-cut and piece of Watercolor paper using the Poinsettia die, stamped the Poinsettia image and color the image with Inktense Pencils.
I die-cut a border and label in White, stamped the sentiment in Olive Archival and cut half of the label.
Put all pieces together, add crystal lacquer to poinsettia and sprinkle glitter, then add crystal lacquer to the leaves, finally I added a couple of pearls.

Second card, it is super cute and simple. I used the remaining of the red cardstock, and I made a cute 3.5" square card. Die-cut and stamp wreath in Versamark Ink, add gold embossing powder and heat set. Stamp sentiment in Golden Glitz Delicata. Add a couple of pearls and your mini card is done!!

Hope you like them!
Have a fantastic day

Love Seasonal Wreath ~

Good Morning Sweet'nSassy fans! Mary here with a quick and easy card using
the newly released Seasonal Wreaths! I chose MME papers to match the colours I used on this summer wreath. I combined this layout with the ricrac die from the newly released Bookmarks and More dies. The words are from the MME dp that I trimmed down to create a word sentiment. Pearls are added on the upper right hand corner to balance the card.

Be sure to visit the SNSS store if you haven't seen the latest release and if you didn't hop with the divas this week, you still have time leave comments on each DT member to win some Free stuff!

Have a great weekend!

Joyous Christmas

Hello friends! Today I have a little peek of a new set that you can purchase tomorrow!!  This set is called "Seasonal Wreaths" and includes beautiful wreaths not only for Christmas {wink, wink}.

For my card I used a very traditional Christmas color combo. The wreath was stamped in Memento Luxe Tuxedo Black and added Clear embossing powder and heat set. Colored the image with Copic markers and added red pearls. Also die-cut a doily border in White Cardstock and painted it with Gold 3D paint. The sentiment was stamped on Burgundy Cardstock in Jet Black Archival Ink.

Hope you like it! I know you are going to love this new release!!
Hugs!
