A Flower a Day

Happy Friday!! I am so sad to say that today is going to be my last post as a Sweet 'n Sassy Design Diva.  I had to make the hard decision to cut back a little until school gets back into full swing...summer is hard with the little ones as many of you may know.   I am looking forward to early bedtimes and more crafting time but I cherish the time I spend with them because they grow up so fast.  I have loved every minute of being on this wonderful team of ladies, Korin is truly an angel and I am so thankful to her.  The good news is I will still be able to share my SNS creations at The Sweet Stop and The Sweet 'n Sassy Connection.

I have been dying to use this cute digi stamp called Peek-a-boo Sophie, I paired it with the Flower Sentiments Digi .  I am a huge fan of Anne Geddes and those cute flower babies and this reminds me of them.
As always I used my Copics to color her and I used two of my new favorite things in my stash...Basic Grey Sweet Threads paper and MFT Die-namics Upsy Daisy to make the flowers (love these die cuts!!).  I hope my card brightened your day a little and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!!

Wish List For Santa

Hi everyone!! I hope you had a great weekend and are looking forward to a blessed week. I am loving all of these cute Rhubarb Teddy Bears that Korin has created.  Today I came up with an idea to send those special wishes to Santa using Rhubarb's Candycane Digital Stamp. 

 I started by making a Crisscross Card and used My Mind's Eye Wonderful Winter along with Bazzill cardstock.  For the insert I typed up the "Wish List" on my computer and cut it to fit.  This patterned paper was perfect to cut out the the trees and use them for a pull especially since I had three to send to Santa.  As the kids find things they want for Christmas we will add them to the list and be ready to go.  My kids were so excited when I showed them this and couldn't wait to get started... I just barely got the  pictures taken:)

A Happy Hello

Hi everyone!! Please don't adjust your computer screen...I have a really big card to show you today:)  I just had to make it longer to get these cute sea creatures all together.  Today I used one of my favorite new stamp sets from Sweet 'n Sassy called Happy Ocean Friends not only does it have all of these cute little creatures but it has so may adorable summer sentiments, you will love them!!

 I tried to follow a sketch that I found on Splitcoast TESC140 but I was set on using these papers from my stash that just weren't long enough so I had to come up with a little different layout.
I used a 1/2" circle punch to mount the images on which is the perfect size for these little guys.  I colored them with Copics and added a coat of Crystal Stickles for a little shimmer.   I hope you have a wonderful day and find some time to get crafty.

What's Cookin With Cocoa?

Today I have a fun little gift set that I altered to share with you.  I occasionally like to change things up from doing cards and I think it is such a nice touch to make a personalized gift out of things that don't cost that much.
I found this cookbook at my local craft store and loved the pattern on it.  I then remembered the great cooking Digital Stamps that Sweet 'n Sassy has to offer so I started by using Pie for Cocoa colored him with Copics and added some ribbon to the cook book, cute and simple.  I then used the Recipe Card Digital Stamp and  personalized the corners by adding Pie for Cocoa  along with one of the Kitchen Sentiments Digis.  These recipe cards are so versatile.. think of what a great gift idea these could be.

I thought this giant paper clip would make a great recipe card holder while you are cooking.  I am forever losing my recipe ... problem solved. Don't forget to laminate your stamped image for easy clean up. I used Chef Cocoa  and added the Kitchen Sentiment to the hat.  That is one of the many great thing about digis, you can personalize items even more.
