Pizza & Bacon

Hello! Today I want to share a couple of Punny Love cards with you. I love that you can make quick cute cards with this set.
This card isn't so hard to make. I stamped the image on marker paper and colored it with a few red and cream colored markers. I used a die cut to make the tag and added a light grey distressed border to it. After that all I had to do was to pick a nice patterned paper for the background and a couple of items to add to the card.

For the second card I used the same idea. I colored the image with alcohol markers and used a green border on the tag this time. I added a few enamel dots and a ribbon to finish the card.
I used the stamp set Punny Love.
I hope you're inspired to create something today!

Punny Love

There is a new January release at Sweet N Sassy called Punny Love and it is A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E and so choc full of potential for sweet projects from Valentines to inspiration cards!

I found some mini envelopes (4.125"x 2.75") and created little Valentines - I am working on a "class set". I used the little hearts from the set and with versamark, created tone on tone decoration for the envelopes.

While I was making minis, I made some fun little lunchbox cards. Don't you think kiddos will get a kick out of getting these in their lunch boxes!?

I also thought some of these sentiments could be used for encouragement for kids so I made a simple card using the "egg-stra special" image.

These are all quick and easy and so much fun you will want to stamp them all!

I hope you are inspired today! Thanks for stopping by!!

Heart Candy.....

{jane bosi}  I am completely loving this month's releases!!!  My first card features Punny Love.  This set is such fun, I can barely put it down!!  It's a simple one layer-ish card that would be easy to mass produce if that's your thing.  I colored the images with various distress inks and an aqua brush.  To make the hearts pop, I added a bit of dimensional glue to each one.

My second card features Heart Candy and has a vintage kind of feel to it.

The minute this set was in my hand, it demanded a shaker box.  So, I pulled out a few old school techniques such as paper piecing and shaker box making.  Tried and true, good old techniques.  The scallop image running through the red panel is a retired Sweet N Sassy set called Borders and Backgrounds.  I love the candy heart sayings that are perfect for just about anyone!

That's all for now--go get inky!

Happy Valentine's Day

Hello Sweet Friends!  Sheri here today to share a Valentine card featuring the NEW His Love along with the fun You & Me stamp sets.  You could easily change out the sentiment to create an Anniversary card to give you another option for the card design.

Back to my card...first I created my own background paper by randomly stamping the "Love" stamp from the His Love stamp set.  I love how you can create your own custom background papers.  I then cut out a heart from some glitter card stock.  I added a sentiment from the You & Me stamp set by using Versamark ink and heat embossing it in white.

Valentine Love

Hello everyone,
It's Ceal, here to share with you a couple cards using the Filigree Hearts set which is our January Stamp of the Month. You are not able to purchase this set but can earn it free with a $75 purchase through the month of January.

It's a great set to have on hand for your valentine card making and I don't know about you but Valentines is one of my favorite holidays to make cards for.
On my first sample I paired it up with a couple of our other sets In Stitches Alpha and All About You.

My second sample uses the Hearts Filigree and In Stitches Alpha again but this time embossed for a little more elegant card.

Filigree Hearts

Hello! It's Monika here today with couple SWEET cards. Have you seen the clear stamp sets from the January release? So much LOVE!

I decided to use the pretty hearts from Filigree Hearts clear stamp set on couple of non-Valentine's Day cards. I don't send out cards for this occasion, but I can always use friendship and thank you cards.

On my first card, I heat embossed some of the hearts with white embossing powder (using VersaMark ink), then sponged Abandoned Coral Tim Holtz distress ink over it... creating an amazing background.
The greeting is from Thoughtful Words clear stamp set. The first part of the greeting is heat embossed with clear embossing powder (using the same coral ink from before).

The felt flower was the perfect embellishment to this SWEET card.

For my second card, I stamped one of the hearts with Onyx Black Versafine ink then colored it with Kuretake Gansai Tambi water color and Reese Brea shimmer paint.
The background image is from Wood Backgrounds clear stamp set and the greeting is from Keep in Touch Too clear stamp set.

I hope I have inspired you to craft today!

Thank you for stopping by,
Monika

Punny Love

Hello sweet friends!  It's hard to believe that 2019 has arrived (where did 2018 go?)...hope you all had a fantastic New Year's Day!  Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps is starting 2019 off with a bang.  I've been having so much fun with the new Punny Love Stamp Set in the January Release.  I have to warn you...once you start playing with this set, it's hard to stop.  I have four cards to share with you today using this adorable stamp set!

The hearts from the Grunge Elements 2 set were white embossed on a piece of heavy mixed media paper and the panel was smooshed over watered down Oxide Inks on my craft mat.  The grid from the Texture Tiles 1 stamp set was then stamped over the panel for added texture.  The donut image was colored with Copic Markers and Glossy Accents applied over the icing.  A few sequins were added to finish the card.

The muffin card was made the same way except the script stamp from Texture Tiles 1 was used instead of the grid.

The third card is very clean and simple.  All images were colored with Copic Markers and Glossy Accents was added to the hearts.

The plaid background on the fourth card was made using one of the plaids from the Texture Tiles 4 Stamp Set.  Of Course eggs...even EGG-stra special ones need salt and pepper so the splatter from Texture Tiles 1 was used to sprinkle the card.  Glossy Accents was again used on the row of hearts.
See what I mean...how fun!

Here are the stamp sets used to create all the cards above:

Be sure to check out the whole new release over at the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Store!

Thanks so much for stopping by...Happy stamping in the new year!

Inspired Thank You Cards | Julee Tilman

Hi Sweet 'n Sassy friends! Welcome to 2019! I love a fresh new start and a chance to reflect on the things I'd like to do to better myself and the world around me in the coming new year. One of my crafty resolutions this year is to make more "mailable" cards. I love adding embellishments to my cards, but all the added doo-dads and chunkiness often make the cards hard to find an envelope for and a bit expensive to mail. So during the holidays, when I saw Korin's live video on the Creative Worship Bible Journaling Facebook group, I was inspired to make some quick thank you cards. For a short 3 minute overview of this method, check out her awesome 1 sheet - 9 cards video on YouTube.

My son Trevor has been creating a series of watercolor trashcan paintings. He's having a blast sketching our kitchen trashcan and then watercoloring it all the colors of the rainbow! So precious.  During one of his sessions I did a little Crayola watercoloring alongside  him and then showed him the magic of adding a bit of table salt to the wet paint to get some fun effects. I really wasn't thinking about cardmaking at the time, but I loved how vibrant the colors came out, so decided to use my project to follow Korin's footsteps and make some quick mailable thank yous!

I had only painted about a 3.75 x 7.25" swath of watercolor on my sheet, so decided to go for square cards to get the most out of my strip. I cut the watercolor sheet down to 1.5" x 3.5", so I could make four cards. I glued these strips to 4 inch square cardstock panels, then pulled out the fabulous All About You set and stamped the thank and the you using my MISTI to get the same placement on all of them.

Next I pulled out Winnie's Warm Wishes stamp set. This set is currently a steal of a deal in the $5 blowout section of the shop.  Speaking of deals, there have also been some new additions to the 20% off and 50% off categories, so be sure to check those out! 😀  I used the sweet little mug of cocoa and marshmallow, stamping it in black and then coloring with Copic markers and adding some crystal lacquer to the hearts and marshmallows. I then fussy cut and popped up on a little foam tape.  I added a bit of washi for a little interest, then finished with black mats and 4.25" square card bases.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you're inspired to make a few quick cards. Here's a look at the sets I used today.
