Warm Snowy Hello

Hi everyone!  It's Janette here today with the very last post of 2014.  It is hard to believe that the year is coming to a close.  Time sure does fly doesn't it?

I am not a fan of snow at all which is rather ironic since I live in Buffalo, NY.  However, I really love snowman.  Sweet N Sassy Stamps has quite few adorable snowmen stamps in the store and I am sharing a couple cards with you using some of my favorites- Warm Hello and Snowy Hello.

I colored the image with copics and used stickles on the snow and the berries on the hat.

Here are the products that I used on my card:

My second card uses the Snowy Hello set:

Once again I colored the image with copics and used stickles for the snow.

Here are the products I used:

Thank you for visiting today.  I wish you all a very Happy New Year and many blessings in 2015!

Warm Hugs...

Hello! It's Monika here today, bringing you a new card.

Now that Christmas is over, I am having a hard time switching gears. I am not ready to put all my holiday stamps away yet... so I decided to make a winter card, since that would be still 'in season'. At least for some of us...

I've been enjoying using water color backgrounds, so I used that technique for the base. I used blue and green colors on water color paper and finished it off with white splatters on top:

Next I used an other favorite technique of mine, heat embossing on vellum. I heat embossed the image from Snowflake Flourish clear stamp set with white embossing powder. It is the perfect hand-made overlay!

Next I die-cut a border with the scallop star die from Hearts & Stars Scallop Border die set out of silver glitter paper. I used the stars as my embellishments. The tag is hand cut to fit the greeting.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope I inspired you to make create something pretty today.

Monika

Let It Snow

Greeting friends!  Kim here today to share a snowy card...crafting is a great way to stay joyful in the midst of cold, snowy, dark winter days.  Me, anxious for spring already?  Nah... **smile**

Today's card features a darling Rhubarb digi image...love that little bear...Rhubarb's Snowy Day.  Did you know that Sweet 'n Sassy also sells digital images?  Digital images are super easy to use and very cost effective, as well as space effective!  Just purchase and download your image on to your PC, insert into a Word document (you can print from a photo program as well, but I like Word because it's super easy), and print directly on to cardstock!  Copics can bleed some printer inks, but I'm just careful coloring and have never had a problem.  I also like that you can print an entire page of images all at once.

Once I colored Rhubarb, I added a bit of glitter for the snow (Quickie Glue Pen works wonders), and Liquid Pearls, in Platinum, for the snowflakes.  The sentiment was from another set and I stamped it three times...you know, like the song, and then assembled my card.  That lovely paper is from BasicGrey...I puffy heart BasicGrey.

I hope you enjoyed today's card and you'll give digi images a try!!

Peaceful Winter Silhouette~

Peaceful Wishes for all in the coming Year! Mary here to share with you the nostalgic feel of the Winter Silhouettes designed by DKdesigns. I combined it with the Hillside edges die to create this wintry skating scene of yesteryear. To give the snowy hillsides some depth, I sponged the edges. The title is pulled from Vintage Ornaments. To finish the card with a bit of sparkle, I pulled out my mini rhinestones from CTMH.

See you all in the New Year! Sweetn'Sassy Stamps has great things in store for the coming year!
Materials Used:
Stamps: Winter Silhouettes, Vintage Ornaments
Paper: SU, MME
Inks: SU, QQ powder puff inks, versafine ink

Premade Christmas Morn

Hello Friends!  I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with your family and friends!

This is Jacquie and I am here to share a little AFTER Christmas cheer with you.  I know that Christmas is over, but, I would love to share the Christmas card that I made for my mother.  I used our SNSS Christmas Morn and SNSS Jesus is Born clear stamp sets.

I started with a plaid, premade card base.  Then I cut out a rectangular, green panel and a small, square red panel.  Once the panels were ready, I stamped my tree image onto the green with Versafine black ink.  I stamped the sentiment onto the red with the same ink and embossed it with some Ranger, fine detail, clear embossing powder.  I added some Recollections tinsel glitter to the tree image and popped both panels up with some 3m foam tape.  To finish off my project, I added a few sequins!

Hope you like this card, as much as my mother did!  Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!!

2014 Year in Review - Day 16: Christmas Morn

For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder.  And His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
(Isaiah 9:6) KJV

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
(Luke 2:11) KJV

Merry Christmas everyone!  Welcome to the final day of
Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps 2014 Year in Review!

Is it any wonder that our last feature for this year is:
Jessica has really been busy creating fabulous Christmas cards with this wonderful vintage stamp set.  Here are some of her creations:

The sentiment from the Christmas Morn set was stamped on a scallop border.  Love the look of the Small Snowflake die cuts over the embossed Delightful Doilies and the sparkly trim!

Jessica used the sentiments from Christmas Morn to frame the tree image.  The vellum Small Snowflake die cuts add a bit of whimsy to this pretty Christmas card.  Other
Sweet 'n Sassy products used on this card include the Scallop Border Dies, Ticket Sentiments and the Ticket Dies, and Born This Day.

The Christmas plaid paper gives this card a wonderful festive look.  The silver embossed rocking horse from the Christmas Morn vellum layer softeners the tree image while Jessica's trademark doily adds charm.

These cards featuring the Christmas Morn stamp set were created by the Design Divas during this past year:

Remember the excitement you had as a child on Christmas morn?  Monika caught some of that excitement on her beautiful card with the children silhouettes from the Christmas Morn set opening gifts under the tree.

Janette's card is so elegant with the layers of DP and elements from the Christmas Morn stamp set edged in silver!

Gloria's pretty poinsettia and plaid ribbon look gorgeous on this kraft tag with a white embossed tree from the Christmas Morn stamp set.  The white splatters look like falling snow!

The vintage design of the Christmas Morn stamp set coordinates beautifully with other vintage stamp sets at the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Store.  Vintage Post Card and a Doily Border die cut give this card a wistful feel.  The Christmas Innies sentiment on this card expresses our Christmas wish for you!

That's a wrap for 2014!
Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps is now ready to usher in the New Year!  Join us tomorrow as we reveal our first Sweet Perks Club Bundles for 2015!

2014 Year in Review - Day 15: Birthday Word Art

Hello Sweet 'n Sassy friends! We're continuing our 2014 Year in Review with a fabulous birthday set.

Today's feature is:
This wonderful set of large birthday greetings was designed by Gloria Stengel.  The strip of numbers is perfect for pointing out the age of the recipient, counting down until the big day, or for creating a background for your card.  Jessica and Diane have two new cards to share with you using the Birthday Word Art stamp set.

Jessica is using the strip of numbers to count birthday wishes.  How cute is that little paper pieced spider from the Buggin' Ya stamp set hanging down from the number 9!   I don't like spiders, but this one makes me smile!

Diane used Happy Place flowers embossed on colorful strips of card stock to send best wishes to a friend.  This card could be used for any number of occasions!

Here are a few more Design Team cards using Birthday Word Art
created in 2014:

This card was created by the designer of this stamp set, Gloria Stengel.  Using the vintage truck from the Timeless Classic stamp set and one of the large sentiments from Birthday Word Art makes this card perfectly masculine.

Bridget used the same sentiment from Birthday Word Art as Gloria, but her beautiful watercolored background in a vivid pink color makes her birthday card very feminine.

Birthday Word Art coordinates perfectly with so many other Sweet 'n Sassy stamp sets.  Monika is an expert at bringing different elements and colors together to create gorgeous cards.  The Majestic Monarch embossed on vellum and cut with the matching Monarch Dies sitting on the cupcake from Birthday Bash is just beautiful.  The row of numbers tucked beside the Scallop Border brings balance to her card.

The number strip from Birthday Word Art was stamped in white on black card stock to create the background for Lee Ann's striking card.  Elements from Keep in Touch, Keep in Touch Dies, Shape  Dies, and the What's Up?, and Arrow Dies featured earlier this month were added to the fishtail banner to draw attention to the sentiment.
Very clever!

Diane is a master at creating glorious 3D projects!  This lovely cookie gift box featuring one of the large sentiments from the Birthday Word Art stamp set is sure to light up the face of the recipient.  Other Sweet 'n Sassy stamp sets and dies used to create her yummy box include Majestic Monarchs, Monarch Dies, Long Stem Silhouettes, and Long Stem Silhouettes Dies.

Only one more day remaining in Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps 2014 Year in Review count down…we finish on Christmas Day with a wonderful Christmas stamp set.  We hope you've been enjoying all of our reviews and have been inspired by the cards and projects posted.  It's not too late to grab our featured sets at 25% off the retail price…our featured products SALE ends on the last day of 2014, December 31st!

sample made by me!

The backgrounds for this card were made with the Skeleton Leaf Background and the Shape Up stamp set that was featured earlier this month.  The golden colors matted with black are perfect for apple picking Rhubarb!

Here are some wonderful Beary Bountiful Autumn
Design Team samples from 2014:

Monika's apple picking Rhubarb from the Beary Bountiful Autumn stamp set is just darling.  The dimension on the nice shiny apple looks so yummy!  Love the leaves and the loopy thread in the upper corner!

Giovana used the Falling Leaves Background and more falling leaves cut with the Leaf Silhouettes Dies to set the stage for Rhubarb's Beary Bountiful Autumn!

This adorable Beary Bountiful Autumn card with Scarecrow Rhubarb was created by Ceal.  Love the fall colors and the texture of the felt leaves cut with the Leaf Silhouettes Dies!

Here is Scarecrow Rhubarb again…so beautifully colored by Mary!  Love the vintage papers, the popped up panel, the cute sentiment, and the pretty bow on this Beary Bountiful Autumn card!

Diane found the perfect DP to match apple picking Rhubarb from the Beary Bountiful Autumn stamp set.  I know we are only a few days away from Christmas, but this card makes me wish for the warmer days of Fall!

Our Day 14 feature is:
A Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps review would not be complete without featuring at least one stamp set with that adorable little mouse we've all come to love... Cocoa!

Here are some new samples made by Jessica and me using the

Jessica used the From Cocoa's Kitchen stamp set to create a pie just for you…and look who's peeking over the top!  The sentiment as well as the faintly stamped background is from the Birthday Word Art stamp set.

I decided to pair From Cocoa's Kitchen with the new Baked for You Apron Die.  A perfect match…don't you think?  The trim on the pockets were made with the Doily Border Dies.

Here are several other projects made by the Design Team in 2014 using

This glassine treat bag created by Monika is just adorable!  Wouldn't you just love receiving some freshly baked goodies from chef Cocoa?  From Cocoa's Kitchen is perfect for giving a tasty treat to a loved one.

This nostalgic card made by Bridget using the From Cocoa's Kitchen stamp set looks like it might have come right from my grandmother's kitchen!  Love the patterns, the colors, and the little rolling pin accent!

I love the way Mary has used a rhinestone flourish to represent steam coming from Cocoa's freshly baked pie on her card using From Cocoa's Kitchen.

Yummy!  Lee Ann's cupcake holder is not only gorgeous, but looks delicious!  The Delightfully Delicate Background was used to decorate the treat box and looks wonderful with a tag made with stamps From Cocoa's Kitchen.

Janette's card made with the From Cocoa's Kitchen stamp set is beautiful!  She found the perfect DP and her fussy stitching, lace, and warm colors have a wonderful cozy, homey feel.

Thanks so much for joining us today.  Tomorrow we'll take a look at another adorable character from the Sweet 'n Sassy line of stamps so be sure to check back again!
