Merry Christmas

Hello friends! Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends who are celebrating this holiday today!!  I love Thanksgiving, in Peru, we don't celebrate it and since I move to the States I have adopted this celebration, just love it!!

Ok, today, I have for you a very simple and pretty Christmas card! I used Christmas Silhouettes stamp set, I stamped the berries on a piece of white cardstock in Versamark ink, then added White Embossing powder and heat set. I used Light blue and black gelatos to create the embossing resist.
Then, stamped and die-cut the Christmas tree in Golden Glitz Delicata. The sentiment was stamped in a piece of Kraft Cardstock.
Added the panels to card base and tie on red twine. Finally I added Ruby Liquid Pearls to the berries.

Also sharing that this is my last post as a Design Team member for Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. I've decided to step down and take care of my health and family. I want to thank Korin for the opportunity to design for her and her business. Wishing her the best in all the upcoming things.

Many blessings to you all!

Happy Birthday

Hello friends! Giovana here today bringing you a sneak peek of a couple of products that we will be released tomorrow! This card was super easy to make with a touch of mixed media.
First I die-cut the Birthday sentiment in watercolor paper and color it with Distress inks, then covered it with Crystal Lacquer and sprinkled clear glitter on top.
For the background I used embossing paste and green paint, mixed them together and with a circle stencil I created this cool background, after it got dried I misted it with chocolate mist. Finally, I distressed one side of the edges with Tumbled Glass Distress ink.

Don't forget to join us tomorrow for more inspiration and the reveal of the new products!!

Hope you like it.
Have a great day!

Harvest Blessings!

Hello friends!  Giovana here today with a very Fall/Autumn card. Few weeks ago I went to my neighbor's orchard and got a lot of apples, they used to distribute apples around the state and other states too, now you get an idea how big their orchard is, I love to go there, the smell of apples is something I love plus my child loves to do the job too because is fun :) Now, the are retired but the trees still produce huge and delicious apples, he always invite the neighbors and churches to go and pick apples. They are a great elderly couple, with a big heart and a cat who loves to stare at you, hehehe.

Anyway, I think this image is perfect to recreate the occasion. I used Beary Bountiful Autumn Set , colored the image with Spectrum Noir markers, the sentiment was stamped on one of the bigger clouds from Clouds and Raindrops Die Set.
The apples were covered with Crystal Lacquer and then added clear glitter.

Hope you like it!
Have a fantastic day!!

Falling leaves

Hello friends! Giovana here today with a Fall card using one of the latest sets released "Falling leaves" .
This card was a lot of fun to create. I started with a piece of white cardstock, took 3 different colors and applied the ink direct from the pad onto the cardstock, you can see a little bit of the lines from the pad. Then I took Distress ink and stamped the leaves, took my black finest point marker and outline some of the leaves, then added white pen to create a little bit more dimension. I die-cut a leave from Leaf Silhouette Die set, ink all the edges and stamp the sentiment. I added it to the panel with dimensionals.
After that, I matted the piece on a slightly bigger piece of red cardstock and added stitches. Finally, added the panel to a white card base.

Hope you like it!
Have a great day!

Happy Thanksgiving

Hello my friends! Happy Saturday to all of you, the weather is finally changing, over here in the Pacific Northwest we are having cool mornings and evenings and leaves are changing colors, my favorite kind of weather and season :). So this is the perfect time to start thinking about "Thanksgiving". This is one of my favorite holidays, in Peru we don't celebrate Thanksgiving, so in all my years living in the USA, this holiday is very especial for me.

For my card I used the "Autumn Bounty Set", colored the image with Touch Twin Markers. I paper pieced the poinsettia and added little bits of Star Dust Stickles.

Back to School

Hello! Giovana here bringing you a cute "Back to School" card using "Back to School Rhubarb" set. I colored Rhubarb pink because that's my daughter's favorite color; she really loves this card, maybe I will send this one to her new teacher next week :)
For the background I die-cut few clouds and positioned them on the cardstock and sponged them around, then I added few clouds with pop dots. The sentiment was stamped on the biggest cloud.
I found this cute Patterned Paper on my stash and decided to add it to my card, as well as few grass and a bit of Pink Twine :)
