Home is Where You Are...

Hi friends! Kim here sharing a card that I created using the super cute Happy Home stamp set. (PS - This set would go great with the Hillside Edges dies!)

For my "scene," I started by cutting out a few hills from the Natural paper pad from Authentique (aren't those colors perfect for hills?)  I then used the Wendy Vecchi Sunburst stencil, and Wild Honey Distress Ink, to stencil the rays onto a piece of text paper (also from Authentique).  The house and trees were stamped on cardstock and watercolored, using Distress Markers and a water brush.  Then it was time to assemble!  The hills were faux stitched and the house and trees were tucked under the hills.  The last item was to add two clouds, cut out using the Clouds and Raindrop dies.  The sentiment was stamped on the bottom hill.

So, friends, this is going to be my last post for a while. I stepped down from the design team, for an undetermined amount of time. My hubby just received a job offer, after looking for six long months, in another state. Boo.... My craft supplies have been packed and our house in on the market so I need time to make the transition before jumping back in to regular crafting.

A great BIG thank you to Korin and the wonderful SNSS design team...Love you all! And thanks to the wonderful SNSS customers who support Korin's business!

Sending hugs and kisses!

Harvest Blessings!

Hello friends!  Giovana here today with a very Fall/Autumn card. Few weeks ago I went to my neighbor's orchard and got a lot of apples, they used to distribute apples around the state and other states too, now you get an idea how big their orchard is, I love to go there, the smell of apples is something I love plus my child loves to do the job too because is fun :) Now, the are retired but the trees still produce huge and delicious apples, he always invite the neighbors and churches to go and pick apples. They are a great elderly couple, with a big heart and a cat who loves to stare at you, hehehe.

Anyway, I think this image is perfect to recreate the occasion. I used Beary Bountiful Autumn Set , colored the image with Spectrum Noir markers, the sentiment was stamped on one of the bigger clouds from Clouds and Raindrops Die Set.
The apples were covered with Crystal Lacquer and then added clear glitter.

Hope you like it!
Have a fantastic day!!

A Happy, Thankful Father's Day!

Good Morning Friends and Happy Father's Day!!  Jacquie here to share a "GUY" creation with you!  I always find it a challenge to create something for a man, don't you?  So, I am always glad to find those elements that are NOT gender specific!  AND?  Those elements are exactly what I used today!

No matter who your card is for, be it your Father or someone who has been just like a Father to you?  Being thankful is something I am sure you will want to express.  So, why not make a thank you card?  We are all thankful for the men in our life and today is a GREAT day to tell them!  Check out my take on a thankful, Father's Day card!

Hope you like my thank you creation!  Be sure to thank those men in your life today, no matter who they are!  Happy Father's Day!  Have a WONDERFUL day and thanks for stopping by!

Elaina name frame

Good morning! We are gearing up for another new release so be sure to check the store on Friday!
Today, though, I have a project to share that I recently made for a baby shower gift.  I used lots of Sweet 'n Sassy products to create a fun name frame to match the baby's nursery décor.

This is one of those projects that looks much cuter in person!  It's so hard to photograph without getting a glare from the glass and it's difficult to see the dimension with embossing and foam dots.  I have a few close ups to see it better.

The nursery is decorated with owls, so I used the Owl Be Here stamp set.  I didn't have a die large enough for the size of branch I needed so I cut my own.  Then I embossed it with a woodgrain embossing folder and sponged it with ink.

The flowers were diecut with the SNSS Kindness dies and accented with the Small Leaves.  I also diecut the Clouds and Sun with SNSS dies and the sun was accented with one of the Stars Dies.  The butterfly is from the Majestic Monarchs dies and the banner flags are from the Pennants & More dies.  Lastly, I added a single heart from the Heart Dies.

One of my favorite parts is the embossed clouds!

Besides owls, the nursery has some paisley so I made sure to add a paisley cloud.  I couldn't help but to sneak in some tiny embossed hearts too!

I hope this inspires you to create some framed art of your own.  I sure had fun creating this one!  I almost changed my name so I could keep it.  ;)

Have a blessed week, friends!

Blessing to Ewe

Hello friends! Giovana here today with a very cute card. I think "Prim Blessings" set is a really adorable set. I tried to create a little scene here.
For this card I stamped the little sheep on watercolor paper (x3) in Jet Black Archival ink, colored them with Inktense pencils, then I cut them out to create a 3D image.
I die-cut grass (here I used the negative too) from Patterned Paper, fence from Brown Cardstock and cloud from White Cardstock. I stamped the coordinated clouds in Memento Summer Sky ink.
I added zig-zag stitches to the front of the card as well as tangerine twine.

Back to School

Hello! Giovana here bringing you a cute "Back to School" card using "Back to School Rhubarb" set. I colored Rhubarb pink because that's my daughter's favorite color; she really loves this card, maybe I will send this one to her new teacher next week :)
For the background I die-cut few clouds and positioned them on the cardstock and sponged them around, then I added few clouds with pop dots. The sentiment was stamped on the biggest cloud.
I found this cute Patterned Paper on my stash and decided to add it to my card, as well as few grass and a bit of Pink Twine :)
