Welcome Sweet Baby

Hello Sweet 'n Sassy friends!  A friend at church is about to become a grandmother for the first time.  She is ecstatic and is flying out to be with her daughter and son-in-law to welcome the new arrival.  I have put together just a few darling Sweet 'n Sassy critters to congratulate her on her new nanny status!

The adorable giraffe and bird are from the new Stand Tall stamp set and the deer is from the As the Deer set.  The sentiment is from the Little One set.  A pretty plaid and some stitching finish off this cute little welcoming committee!

Be sure to check out these sets and more at the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Store!

While you are there, take advantage of the last day for the

As excited as my friend is to receive her new grandson,  I know that Jesus is even more excited to receive us into His kingdom!

Thanks so much for stopping by on this first day of February!

Hugs,
Cathy

Oh, Baby! Look What's Back in Stock!

Hello all!  Happy snowy Friday!  Yes, we are expecting a little snow today after having spring-like weather earlier in the week.  Maybe this will be the last of it….Praying!

I was in need of some baby cards for our Encouragement Ministry at church, so I reached for the beautiful Little One stamp set.

The pram was white embossed and Victorian Velvet and Bundled Sage Distress inks were sponged over it for a soft look.  The sweet sentiment was embossed with Liquid Platinum embossing powder.  Now to make one for a boy!

Our wonderful Creative Worship: He is Risen Bible Journaling Kit for February is still available at the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Store...

...but now it is also possible to purchase each of the stamp sets included in the kit separately!

The Lord is Risen and Love Ya Like a Sister Alpha sets were both used to make this Easter card.  Tombow Markers were used to cover the background.  A wet paint brush was used to blend the colors.  The floral images from The Lord is Risen set were clear embossed over the background and a baby wipe was used to remove some of the color on the background to allow the floral images to pop.  A white Paint Pen was used to color the center of the flowers.

Now Back in Stock:

Head on over to the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Store to grab these popular sets while you can!

Until next time…have a wonderful weekend!

welcome sweet baby

Good morning!
I needed a couple of baby cards and pulled out the Sweet 'n Sassy Little One stamp set.  I already had a baby boy card made with this same set but I also need a few for girls.  You can see the boy card I made previously here.

I also used the SNSS Majestic Monarchs dies to add a little accent to the main image.  It complements the tiny butterflies in the carriage nicely.  :)  The baby rattle was popped up with dimensionals.

Thanks for popping in and... happy stamping!
Diane

Baby Gift Bag Tutorial

Hello Sweet 'n Sassy Peeps!

Jenny here with a quick and easy baby gift
bag using the stamp set Little One.
This stamp set is just super sweet and
I love the sentiment.

I don't always have baby gift wrap or bags
stored away, so I thought it would be fun
to make my own. You could use the bag to
include your gift or even use a smaller bag to hold
party favors at a baby shower.  This bag just
happens to be an over sized lunch bag.
I have a sixteen year old boy I pack lunches for.
Need I say more?!  Lol!

Okay...let's get started.
Here are the very basic supplies you will need,
plus whatever inks you choose.

I choose some pinks and a purple for my bag.
You may want to test the colors out on
another bag first.  The color always looks
different stamping on Kraft like paper.

I folded the bottom of the bag down so
I could eye ball where I wanted my images
to go.  Folding it down also keeps the bag
out of your way while stamping.

Now would be a good time to tuck in
the goodies in your bag.  If you forget to
add something, no worries, this easily can
be opened back up.

Next, take a large doily and fold it in half.
Set it aside and fold the top of the paper bag
toward the back.  Unfold the doily so half
covers the front of the bag and the other the back.
Then punch each end of the center of the
 doily through the folded bag.

Slide each end of the ribbon from the back to
the front and tie in a bow.  If you happen
to have a fun clothespin, attach that through
 the center of the bow.

You can find the supplies I used for my gift
bag up on my blog, and the link for the Little One
stamp set below.

Hope you find time in your day
for some crafty-ness!

Hugs,

Jenny

Welcome, Little One....

[jane bosi]  Happy September, Sweet Friends!  I can barely believe we are back to school and approaching fall like weather!  It's my favorite time of the year!  It makes me feel all creative and stuff....

I've had this frame sitting in my Studio for several years.  When I bought it, I just knew it was going to be fabulous.....I just had to wait a bit for the inspiration to hit!

I decided to use the brand new set, Little One, to stylize the different sections of the frame.....I wanted to try a marbling technique I saw demonstrated online.  The technique utilized a tool I don't own for multiple layer stamping.  It occurred to me that I didn't really need the tool since it's so easy to line up Sweet N Sassy clear stamp images.  The marbling technique was done with the carriage image.  I layered three different distress inks on that particular image.  I like the dimension it adds!

You should give it a whirl too!  It is the season for learning new things....

Little One...

Hello! It's Monika here today with a simple baby card.

I love the sweet images and greetings in the new Little One clear stamp set. I decided to make a shaped card that would spotlight some of the images.

The shape itself adds an extra Wow! element. It is very easy to reproduce when you have the basic shape. I made a template for myself I will be able to use in the future.
I used Circle and Scallop Circle dies to cut the neck and leg areas.

Use the new Baby Innies clear stamp set to add a special message to the inside of your card.

Thank you for stopping by today,
Monika
