God Is...

Hello! It's Monika here today, bringing you an all occasion card.
Now that I officially had to put my Christmas stamps away, I had a hard time picking a set... Finally I decided on God Is clear stamp set, since I had not used it for ages. It is such a sweet set, plus silhouette images are very easy to work with.

I wanted to use a specific sketch from Unscripted Sketches #236... and this is what I came up with:

Simple lines, with a little bit of embellishments... and voila... an elegant and classy card.I used washi tape, silver rhinestones, Baker's Twine, and couple of wood veneer shapes...
The fence was die-cut with with Fence & Grass Die set.

Thanks for stopping by,
Monika

Keep in Touch

Hello Everyone!
Are you recovering from yesterday's festivities?  I had a very quiet and relaxed Christmas at home.  I so appreciated the time to slow down during this very busy season- a time to reflect on the Christ's birth  and spend time with my son.  Now things get crazy again, squeezing in all of the errands and chores to be done during Christmas break!
Today's card has a wonderful vintage feel and is easy to make-perfect for a quick set of cards.

I used the Keep in Touch set and stamped the Typewriter, then die cut it out with its matching die.  The card base is stamped with a wonderful grungy image from the Grunge Elements set.  I added several banners, popped the typewriter up on a dimensional and tied a bow in my most favorite twine.
Thanks so much for popping by during this wonderfully busy time of year!
 Happy New Year to all!

Merry Christmas!

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.  Isaiah 9:6

I used the beautiful Christmas Light stamp set and coordinating die to create my last Christmas card of the year.  I also used one of the pretty Doily Borders dies to accent the ribbon.

Today we gather with family and friends to celebrate, hope, and reflect on that very first Christmas.  May you feel the warmth and be filled with the wonder of God's love, His gift to us.

From all of us at Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps...
Have a Blessed and Meaningful Christmas!

Snowman Soup

Hello everyone, Merry Christmas Eve!  Today I would like to share a couple cards with you using the adorable Snowman Soup stamp set.

For my first card I colored the image with copics and added some sparkle with stickles and a rhinestone.  I created the bottom layers of the card with the scallop border die and used the mini tag die set for the sentiment.

My second card I again colored the snowman mug with copics and added a rhinestone to the star.  For the whipped cream, I used liquid appliqué and heated it with my heat tool so it became puffy.  Once again I used the mini tag die for the sentiment.  The designer paper for both cards is from the My Minds Eye Winter Wonderland collection.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.  I wish you all a very blessed Christmas!!!

Good morning!

Jessica here this morning stopping by to share several Christmas/Winter themed cards with you.  With all the things going on this week leading up to Christmas, I was unable to finish the card I had started and was planning on sharing with you today so I decided to look through my files to find some of my past favorites to show you today.

My first one uses the adorable Cozy Friends - I forgot how much I love those wintery animals in the circles!

My second card uses another one of my favorite Teddy Bears - sweet Rhubarb from Rhubarb's Christmas stamp set. I made this card a few years ago for my father-in-law whose birthday is on Christmas day.

My next card uses the lovely Vintage Ornaments with their coordinating dies.  This one shouts 'Nordic Christmas' to me and my Norwegian heritage!  Love the blue ornaments and woodgrain patterned paper together!

And, last but not least - this one with the GORGEOUS Poinsettia stamp set with coordinating die.  LOVE the traditional Christmas colors on this one and that paper pieced/colored flower was so fun to make.  I may be allergic to poinsettias in real life, the stamped version gives me only joy!

I hope you have a very blessed Christmas season with your family and are able to spend some quality time with your loved one's celebrating our Savior's birth!

Happy Snow Day!

Check out the cute Winter Stamp sets HERE.

Hello friends! Giovana here today, bringing you a Winter-y card. Today, winter starts officially, although in this part of the country, we have had -15F already, which I consider pretty cold and winter weather. My daughter is anxiously waiting for snow and her wishes may come true today!! We are expecting some snow and hopefully this will make her very happy. So, to celebrate the occasion, hehehe, I made a snow-y card and I hope you like it.

For this project I used Snowy Hello Set, stamped the image on white cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored it with Markers, then I die-cut, embossed and stenciled it. I die-cut a bigger piece in Light blue cardstock and did some dry embossing. The sentiment was stamped in Jet Black Archival. I die-cut Small Snowflake dies in Gold cardstock and added to the card. I added some crushed glass to the image to create snow. I added red ribbon and a bow.

Hope you like it!
Have a fantastic day!

Rainbow Snowflake

*****************************************************************************

Hello, it's Bridget here with a clean and simple thank you card - time to think about coming up with a few cards to let people know I appreciate their Christmas gifts!
I made a rainbow effect with some strips of Echo Park polka dot dp, then die-cut the largest snowflake from the fabulous Large Snowflakes die set.
I used a negative die-cut from the same die on a white piece of card, then set the rainbow snowflake into the negative die-cut.  I then added the little pieces back in like a jigsaw puzzle.  Yes, it took a little time, but once I got started with it, I had to finish!
To finish I added two buttons and popped it up on a black frame.
The sentiment is from the cute set Snowy Hello,
perfect for your post Christmas thank you cards!
Thanks for stopping by today, have a wonderful day!

You Are Loved

Hi friends!  Kim here with a simple floral card to share today!  I was in a coloring mode over the weekend and grabbed a larger image that I could really have fun coloring (with Copics) and shading.  This beautiful image is from the Precious Poppies stamp set, which includes three different floral images and a boatload of sentiments.  Beautiful!

I stamped my image with black Memento Ink, which is the best ink for Copic markers, as it won't smudge or bleed.  Then I colored with my markers, adding a pale blue shadow around the flowers.  Of course I had to ink the edges of the image and sentiment.  I wanted to keep things simple so I just paper pierced the edges around the image and mounted it on a piece of embossed black cardstock.  Clean and simple but oh so elegant, thanks to that stunning image!  (And those pretty flowers makes me think of spring...such a nice thought when one is looking at a foot of snow outside! LOL!)

Enjoy!

Drop Me A Line.......

http://www.sweetnsassystamps.com/
Don't forget about our 12 days of Christmas specials!!

Hello Friends!  How are you?  Jacquie here, dropping by to share with you today!  I am so excited to show you what I have been working on!  I created a card with my new, FAVORITE, clear stamp set!  I made my distressed creation with the KEEP IN TOUCH clear stamp set and dies.  I love how simple this set is and how easy it is to create something with it!

First I gathered some October Afternoon, Thrift Shop, journal cards and then I distressed the edges with my Chocolate Colorbox ink.  I then set those aside and stamped my typewriter image and sentiment with the same chocolate ink; followed by more distressing of the kraft card edges.  Once everything was ready, I layered it all.  I used my KEEP IN TOUCH dies to cut out the typewriter and finished my project off by adding my typewriter and some distressed yellow twine.

Thank you for stopping by, hope you enjoyed my sharing, and have a WONDERFUL day!
Be sure to stop by our store for today's Cocoa Mouse special!!
