    Creativity reflects our Creator.

    Good morning!

Jessica here with a sneak peek of one of the new stamp sets being released later this week as part of the December release!  It's called Grunge Elements and it's a huge stamp set filled with fun artistic images! When I saw this brush stroke, I immediately thought about a rainbow of color along one side of the card, so I stamped it out following the basic order of a rainbow and really liked how it turned out.  I decided to keep the rest of the card very clean and simple so as not to take away from the bold stamping, so went all white with an accent of black for the card base.

The sentiment (also from the stamp set) is one of my favorites from this release and honestly, it's one I think about often.  Our God is such a creative God, isn't He?  He delights in our individuality and creates each snowflake unique, not to mention many other things... Such a neat thing to meditate on, I think.

Have a wonderful day and be sure to be watching all week for sneaks and information about the upcoming new release!

    Chat Soon Friend!

Hello, it's Bridget here to share with you a card created with one of the new sets to be released later this week - a sneak peek at the Keep in Touch stamp set
and the coordinating Keep in Touch die set.
I found this fun speech bubble designer paper in my stash which seemed to play along well with the whole idea of chatting with a friend.
I love the idea of sending a card like this to someone whom I've been meaning to call and it just hasn't happened yet due to the tyranny of the urgent - I think we've all been there!
It lets the person know that they are still important and still on my heart, even though we haven't talked for a while.
I used the Mini Tags Dies set to add a tag and the Hearts Die set to a few hearts - I have to tell you, those heart dies barely get a chance to grow cold, I use them all the time!
Thanks for stopping by today, I hope it's a good one for you!

    Just My Type

Happy December 1st to you!  I can't believe how fast this year is flying by.  What about you?  I trust you had a lovely Thanksgiving surrounded by those you love.  We had a great time at my mom's stuffing our faces with delicious food and laughing until we cried.  I cherish those times and the memories we make.

On to Sweet 'n Sassy...  :)

We don't typically do a release in December but this year I decided to change things up a bit so we'll be releasing 4 fabulous new stamp sets and 1 coordinating die set at the end of this week!  I have been having a BLAST playing with these new stamps and I am excited to share a sneak peek with you today.

Wait till you see the rest of the release!!!  Eeeeeeeppp!!  It's so wonderful!

Until next time, have a blessed day in the Lord!

    Cherished Friend

Hi all!  It's Kim here today to share with you a great way to recycle using dies and paper towels!  I've recently starting using a lot of new products, such as ink sprays, and experimenting with many mixed media projects.  The results of much of my work left with my a large pile of brightly colored used paper towels.  (I use the towels to mop up access ink)

I held on to the piles of paper towels for a few months because they were just too pretty to toss and I figured I'd find something to do with them sooner or later.  Well when Korin introduced the Shape Die Set and I received them in the mail, I immediately picked up on the flower petal/leave shape and grabbed that stack of paper towels!

I cut a bunch of the petal shape and got to work scrunching the petals for a more realistic look.  I then layered the petals around a die cut circle that I'd covered with sticky tape.  Once my flower was assembled, I added the button and used ribbon to create the stem.  (Yes, the stem was the trickiest part of this card!)  The leaves were folded in half to create a vein and then the edges were tucked under the stem.  Then I just needed to add a sentiment and this one, from the Long Stem Silhouettes set, was just perfect!

So the moral of today's story?  Hold on to those pretty, inky paper towels...you never know when you might be able to turn them into a beautiful flower!!

    Enjoy!

    Snowy Thanksgiving Wishes

Hello everyone and Happy Thanksgiving!  It's hard to believe that we are nearing the end of another year. Thanksgiving is a time to look back over the year and reflect on the many blessings in our lives, and in spite of our circumstances at the present, whether good or trying, we do have much to be thankful for.  We want to take this time to thank all of our Sweet 'n Sassy patrons who have been such a blessing to us throughout the year.  We so appreciate your support and friendship!  I also want to personally thank Korin for the way she honors Christ in every stamp set she and her illustrators design, and for the compassionate and caring person that she is.  We, on your design team, could not ask for a more kind and generous leader!  We LOVE you!  Mwaaaah!

And now...I have several cards to share.  First, everyone's favorite, adorable mouse, Cocoa, with a Thanksgiving wish for all of you!

The image from Autumn Lovin' Cocoa was colored with Copic Markers, fussy cut, and popped up on the circle panel.  The sentiment is from another Cocoa set, Fall Time Cocoa.  The sketch is this week's Mojo Monday sketch.

This masculine birthday card features the new Tender Thoughts, Spectacular Snowflakes, and the matching die sets.

The Salted Technique found HERE was used after embossing the Spectacular Snowflakes on the background.  Glitter was added to one of the large Snowflake Dies.  The sentiment is from the Snowflake Flourish clear stamp set.

I hope you've been inspired by your visit!
Be sure to stop back tomorrow, Black Friday,  for the beginning of the Thanksgiving Sale!  Select stamp sets and dies will be on sale for 20% - 25%  off the regular price.

May your Thanksgiving be full of fun, laughter, friends, and family...and of course good food!

"...in everything give thanks;  for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."  (1 Thessalonians 5:18)

    Hugs,
    Cathy
