Teacup Roses

Good morning! I am sharing some cards today using Sweet ‘n Sassy stamps from the July Release. I used Teacup Roses and my first card also uses Rose Banner, which coordinates nicely! The sentiments in this set are just lovely and very useful. I sponged the background, then added half of a paper doily and some pearls.

For the second card, I die cut an oval window in the front and placed my teacup image on the inside to peek through. The sentiment strip spans the open window. The bottom cup and the roses were paper pieced.

I adore this teacup! It makes beautiful cards.

Have a great day!

A woman who fears the Lord...

I love this message from Proverbs that's in the Teacup Roses stamp set. This time I used it with the teacups and roses that are in the same stamp set. But it's so pretty you could use it as a stand alone statement on your card too.
I stamped the image on watercolor paper and colored it with watercolor markers and a waterbrush. I decided to pick two colors (purple and green) and only used those colors for the image. I added a blue patterned paper in the circles to give the card a little bit more contrast. I stamped the message on purple paper and diecut the circles. I covered the background with little triangles and added sequins and wooden buttons to give the card a more playful look.

Teacup Roses

This week I created two cards with one image. I am using the brand new July image called Teacup Roses for my experiment. Let's see what happened...
For the first card, I created a background panel with Dylusion paints and SNSS Texture Tiles 1. I colored the focal image with Copics and fussy cut it to pop up on the panel.

For my second card, I went clean and simple and created a one layer card. I stamped the image and colored it up with Polychromos pencils.

I hope you are inspired!

Amazing Grace

Hello Sweet 'n Sassy Stampers!
It's Ceal here to share a card with you while I am at Junkiefest. If that word doesn't sound familiar to you and you are on facebook, you should go and join the Stamp Junkies group because we also share cards there made with SNSS that we may not always share here.

For my sample today I used two different sets, Life in Jesus and Birds & Blooms. For some reason my computer is not letting me upload Life in Jesus but if you click on the link you can see the set.

To create this simple card I started with a top folding card base and a white panel cut down with a stitched die and then stamped a branch for the Birds & Blooms set in each corner, colored with limbs and leaves using Copic markers and left the rest white. the greeting is from the Life in Jesus set.

happy birthday

Hello! It's Monika here today, bringing you a fun and playful card using the July stamp of the month: Texture Tiles 3 clear stamp set... along with Happy Ocean Friends clear stamp set.

I made a shaker card (seems to be the theme this month) to add a cool dimension to my design. I used the water texture tile image for the background... looks so perfect, don't you think?

I filled the shaker with turquoise micro beads, tiny star and circle sequins:

The inspiration came from this card I made a long (long) time ago:

Thanks for stopping by,
Monika

Stuck on You

Hello sweet friends!  I have two rather prickly cards to share today using the Refresh My Soul stamp set released last month along with the July Stamp of the Month, Texture Tiles 3.  The adorable prickly cacti in the Refresh My Soul stamp set are so much fun!

The background was created with Distress Inks and the bubble texture from the Texture Tiles 3 stamp set.  The cacti were colored with Copic Markers, the sentiment stamped and sequins added to finish the card.

My second sample is a shaker card...how fun!  The background was again created with Distress inks and Oxides.  Sequins were used inside the shaker.

Texture Tiles 3 is the July Stamp of the Month and is free with your $75 purchase until the end of the month!

Have a blessed day!
Hugs,
Cathy

Teacup Roses

Hello Sweet Friends!  It's Sheri here today sharing a card featuring the NEWLY released Teacup Roses stamp set.  Have you ever challenged yourself to create a second card using similar supplies when you love how a card turns out or before cleaning up?  Well I did that with this weeks card.  I fell in love with the colors in the pattern paper that I had found in my stash and thought the kraft was perfect for coffee/tea themed cards.  To change things up a bit I created a 5" Square card instead of my go to A2 (4 1/4" x 5 1/2") card size.  I also did a little paper piecing on the cup to tie end the pattern papers.

Here's the original card I created.

As you will notice I also didn't use a sentiment on my retake...I did this on purpose.  This allows you to use the card for any occasion that it may fit or you may need.

Don't forget that the Texture Tiles 3 stamp set is the July 2018 Stamp of the Month and is FREE with a $75 order (after all discounts and before shipping & tax) through 7/31/18

God Is For You....

{jane bosi} Words of truth and wisdom right here, folks--coming straight at you from me and Sweet 'N Sassy stamps.  In this big world full of stress and strain the only thing, in my fifty--YES, you read that correctly--years that I hold to be true without a doubt is that God is for you.  He's for me, too.  I get lost and stressed and overwhelmed and sometimes forget where to put my eyes, but He's always there.  Patient, waiting, there.  It works like that for you too--a week, a year, ten years....a life time of looking away, He is still there.  Waiting, wanting, loving.

This super cute and colorful card features Sweet 'N Sassy Stamps new July release, Go God's Way.  I literally gasped out loud when I first saw this set designed by Diane Noble:

So much fun to be had with these great images!!  It also pairs great with the God is for You set--which I used for the sentiment.  Endless possibilities.

Have a great day being awesome!  Jane

So blessed....

Hello Sweet 'n Sassy friends, Stephanie here today with a card made using Go God's Way, I just love this set but I especially love the bike.  I stamped the bike onto designer paper and loved how it looked so I decided it didn't need to be colored.  The sentiment is from Thoughtful Words that has so many wonderful combinations.  Make sure you check out this month's stamp of the month-Texture Tiles 3  which is free with $75 purchase and also check out the Deals and Discount section- so many great bargains.  I hope the rest of your week is wonderful!

Teacups and Roses....

{jane bosi}  Hello, Sweet Friends!  Today I am sharing a few cards which feature the new Teacup Roses stamp set.  This is such a fun image to color and makes the sweetest cards of encouragement, thanks, birthday and so much more!

My first card also features a bible page.  I love to pick up aged bibles at thrift stores to use in my art.  They make great backgrounds as well as come in quite handy for mixed media canvas art.
For my second card, I used a piece of fabric for my color inspiration and background.  I even pulled out my sewing machine for this one!  This set is just so versatile!!  The color combos are endless; a must have set it you ask me!  I love it!

Have a great day being awesome!  Jane

go with faith, grace, boldness

Good morning!
Earlier this year I made a 4" coaster for the magnetic frame that hangs by my desk and I planned to make a few more to switch out once in a while. All the tiles I have for my frame are square or round coasters and this time I wanted to try a 4x4 canvas panel.

For my canvas, I used Go God’s Way and Life in Jesus from the new Sweet ‘n Sassy stamps July Release. I also used Go With, Texture Tiles 1, and the Girl Power Printable.

The background was done with a spritz of water added to acrylic paints. Then the words and bike were stamped with Archival Black and some texture was stamped on the grass with Archival Chartreuse. I colored with Inktense pencils and water with a brush. Normally the Inktense pencils would be permanent after wetting them but they were still workable since they were applied over acrylics so I sprayed the canvas with Krylon Workable Fixatif. Next I adhered the printed girl and covered the whole piece with decoupage glue. Some paper flowers were added last. It was fun creating on the canvas surface...I'll be doing more of these for sure.

Here are 2 cards that I will also share using Go God’s Way and Go With. They pair so well together!
I kept the first card CAS and I love how it came together in simplicity.

A sweet friend of mine has a pink “bug” and a heart that follows the Lord so I made my second card in her honor.

Have a great day!
Diane

Happy Birthday!

I'm always struggling with male cards. It's hard to find stamps and images that are suitable for a man. But when I saw the car from the new 'Go Gods Way' set I knew it would be great for a male card. So this is the first card I made with the set.
I stamped the image on watercolor paper and made a couple of mountains with a fineliner. I colored the image with watercolor markers and die cut the panel. I wanted to make a birthday card and I love the lettering from the 'Spring Blossoms' set so I decided to use it for this card. I adhered the panel with foam tape on a fun patterned paper and added everything on a kraft colored card.
